  2. Check page 186 in Clymer's Motor Scrapbook& page 198 & 199 in Horseless Vehicles by Gardner Hiscox and page 24 in A Pictorial History of the Automobile by Peter Roberts there has to be a relation between them
  3. Saxon 1330 on the headlight and Saxon 235 on the taillight you guys are amazing!!!!! now what are your thoughts on the windshield and L R fender ?
  4. All the stuff I've listed recently came from the same shed. I was thinking why these odd bits of cars got saved and kind of randomly but, in my own shed hangs a blown headgasket for a Model T that was there when I bought the place 25 years ago. and near it is a broken speedometer for a 90 Chev. I sold 10 years ago. answered my own question! Stuff accumulates to fill the space allotted. Anyone got an idea what these fit? a headlight , windshield and taillight be from same car that the rear fender I listed a few days back....someone could use these.......Thanks all.
  5. I believe that is a Pennington (sp?) tube frame and fat tires
  6. this is so neat! thanks for all the help. You Kissel guys check the unknown steering wheel I also listed in the what is it. Might be from same car! they were about 5 feet apart in the shed where I found them. Gonna list the Ryan-lite as I'll never own a Kissel unless that Irish Sweepstakes ticket comes thru:D
  7. The Jaeger Machine Company made cement mixers about 1920, but never manufactured their own engines. Their engines were manufactured for Jaeger by the Hercules Gas Engine Company. I know the spellings different but they are pronounced the same?? just a thought.......

  16. Hey Terry did you ever hear the old saying worst places on earth? Somerset, Hayward, Hurley and Hell, 3 in Wisconsin! Buddy Holly and Company almost froze to death near Hurley right before the music died...
  17. My Father ran regular tires into mid fifties and put on chains when it snowed really bad or usually after we had slid into a ditch. Here in Wisconsin, alot of older sheds still have chains hanging in them that would fit the 15/16 inch tires of the era when a kid in the 70's I was almost unstoppable with a Willy's CJ-2A with chains all around! still have my chain pliers new crosslinks and "monkey" links rolling around here. Tires have come along way ....remember how in cold weather the tires would have a flat spot for the first few miles
  18. When I read the last post about M/C engines, it went bonk!!! inside my head:p I shoulda knew that!!!! Geezz... so then why the float chamber flooding push rod???? maybe a stationary application? or some kind of bellcrank assembly that is missing?? you wouldn't be near the carb when hand or electric starting?? I'm sending closer better pics..Thanks fellas for the interest
  19. messed up on the carb. type. it is a K-D type B not A/C musta had spark plugs on the brain. Still think it is a motorcycle carb. though with such a small throat on the flange 1 and 1/8" with the hand operated push rod to flood float chamber,,,,,isn't it a motorcycle carb?????
