  1. This I believe was a leak test that would show where water would leak into the cabin. The person with the sensing equipment in hand is looking for leaks. Essentially a dry water test!
  2. Sending in my registration today, see you at the banquet! Thanks!
  3. I'm thinking about a trip to Ames for the BCA nationa meet. My Reatta is a good one and I thought about having it judged. Why have it judged? Should I go? I've been a BCA member for a few years but never participated much. I'm not sure about an awards banquet for $45 a head. Any thoughts on the meet? Thanks, Steve
  4. Thanks for the pictures, as I toured the grounds I not only was bitten by the mosquetos but also the boat tail bug! Shoot me with the silver arrow any day.
  5. An easy fix I saw in Flint was going over the painted stripe with stripe tape. Looks as good as new with little effort. I beats buffing off the old paint stripe and trying to paint it over. Try it first if nothing else. Good luck.
  6. I know it's a nice area, however do you think 200 per night and a 2 night stay in April would be 450 with taxes is too much? Maybe I've just worked to hard for my money to let it go so easily. Am I alone?
  7. The color is white, white top and red interior. The complete information is on a November post that can be found by doing a forum search by "reattasteve". Thanks.
  8. I posted this car last November with the information filled in by the family of the owner who was very ill. He has now passed and the car is for sale still with a new realistic price. $10,000. Look up the post for the particulars on the car under my name (reattasteve) or call me during the day at home and I will fill you in as best I can. The car is in Janesville, Wi. Thanks, Steve 608 314 1498.
  9. A good body shop should be able to help you!
  10. Hi Reatta fans, This is not my car as I am just helping a friend who has some serious health issues try to sell it. I know the car history somewhat, and for sure it's been cared for. When I get a photo I'll try and post it. The best way to know about the car is to call or e-mail him directly. If you need to talk with me I can be reached in the evenings at 608 314-1498. Thanks, Steve

  12. Looks like the design engineer still lives in Warren Mi, I bet he has some stories on the Reatta. I wonder if he has a Reatta or any interest in this forum?
  13. Look at the service manual...Start there. Look for codes and schematics. Hi/low relay is on the right side console under the access cover, easy to switch out with a different one with the same part no. If you need to change out the dimmer switch on the column, do not be afraid. It is a project though. The multi-function switch does not always have a distinct click, mine did not. Good luck to you. Steve
  14. One of the nicest 90 Reatta's is now fixed. Yesterday a replacement BCM came from Jim Finn and is now installed and working correctly. Thanks to all who had input to my problems and support for getting the car back up and running. This is a wonderful site for support for these complicated machines. Thank you all! Steve
  15. I think I have it figured out......This is what I should have done first. Get the service manual out, look for codes, b420...hi low problem (showed up right away), do the diagnostics which lead me to disconnect BCM and if the lights dim....replace BCM. Hard to belive thats the fix for a simple circuit as the hi/lo beams. Why control that with a computer? What engineer needed that to keep his job? Where do I go for a BCM? Do I send it somewhere for a fix? Doesn't it record odometer readings? Thanks again for all your input, I eagerly await your help with my next move. Steve
