  1. Every time I look at one of my cars it makes me smile. If I stop smiling at a particular car I know it's time for it to go.
  2. The Mayfair is attractive but illustrates how the market rewards left hand drive Sindelfingen bodied cars as opposed to custom bodies with RHD.
  3. Nice pictures. Do you know the serial number on the Cab A?
  4. At the reunion They have an area slightly off to the side for the Glenn Pray auburn and cords (which are *technically* not replicars) and replicars.
  5. They actually look pretty good in person. I've always wanted one with the turbo and manual transmission.
  6. Does anyone have a good source for pictures of this year's show? Sports Car Market has every Ferrari but I'd like to see the prewar cars. Google is not helping yet. I'm afraid that a post war car wining will start a precedent that will go on for some time. Personally I would have gone with one of the J12s.
  7. He didn't specify American manufacturer. There are probably a dozen foreign makes that would qualify as building "Sporty Coupes". However, sticking with American, you seem to have covered all the bases. Was the Nash Ambassador still a Classic by 38? I'm thinking not.
  8. Streamliner looks to be Michelin tire test car. Unique but not my favorite.
  9. The 8/10 was made by Glenn Pray and what is pictured here is the Samco which was the company that bought the tooling. The 8/10 ran with a Corvair drivetrain and was front wheel drive. The Samco was more of hot rod with v8 engines and rear wheel drive. Note that the 8/10 cars used many original Cord NOS parts from Glenn's bins.
  10. 1.54 means it has gone up 20% every time it sells.
  11. I assume the Burden cabriolet with the "French" nose?
  12. Here is the Edsel Ford speedster.
  13. I'm thinking of the Edsel Ford speedster too, which is another 30s car. Unfortunately I have no expertise prior to about 1927.
  14. Yes, I think I would be very interested .
  15. Steve, are you looking for teens or later? One of my favorite "speedsters" although I guess it is more of a "special".
  16. Ok, I found a picture. It would be cool if one survived.
  17. Wow, thanks Jeff. Did any wymann bodied cars get built to your knowledge?
  18. I don't see a business opportunity in this.
  19. Hi Jeff, what is the difference between a Master and a Deluxe master? Is there a production breakdown on the different body styles and did they all ride the 137 inch wheelbase chassis?
  20. What was the price range on the Custom 8? This one makes the car that Tom Lafarriere sold look like a bargain.
  21. Here is the Royale engine in a 8-31 chassis. A big engine in the smaller chassis is an interesting combination. This car is under restoration by a forum member who will hopefully keep sending me pictures to post .
  22. If this is the one I think it is then it has sold at least twice since this ad.
