  1. So, anyone remember the green one up for auction in the last year? Wonder what it went for. I got yelled at when I said I was going to bid on it.
  2. I'm not a brass guy but I would be OK owning this one. 😀
  3. You had me excited it might be a cycle fendered eight. I think there are two or three known cars.
  4. There were certain cars in the mid to late 30s that just did not do the sidemounts the right way. This Packard included.
  5. Steve, The KB was 32/33, did the wheelbase change at all in 34?
  6. Walt, I need to look the name up to confirm. They were located in NY and did station wagon conversions in the late 30s and into the 40s.
  7. Also, the Brunn came with a really nice UU2 carburetor which was going to be traded towards a really nice UUR2 carburetor. So color me disappointment. It would be really nice to figure out a way to make these cars CCCA Caravan capable.
  8. If I understand correctly, the swan hot spot and the manifold both need the two barrel plenum? So you can't just recast a hot spot with two barrels? The Skinner Rectifier must have gone in to production much earlier than Spring 1929 as the Brunn (a late 28 build) has one.
  9. It was a legit car bodied prewar by Woods & Sons. Actually very cool.
  10. I think it depends on how nice it actually is. If it is as good as the pictures, then the price is in range. If not...
  11. This is cool one. Anybody know the make?
  12. I've always wanted an amusement park car. When I was 12 it made sense. I don't know why I still have an infatuation with them. I would LOVE this one.
  13. Three speed or four speed? The one we have seems to be the only known four speed, but it would be nice to find another. I could find a home for it pretty quickly too.
  14. I know at this point I should be smart enough to count the gears, but is that drawing of the four speed, or the standard Reo thee speed?
  15. I like the explanation for why it is labeled a Cadillac.
  16. Why do you suppose Lincoln went from the vent doors to the louvers in 33?
  17. Btw, I called Ed yesterday to tell him to come in here and say something intelligent, but I woke him up from his nap. I expect him to chime in sometime today. He has a number of thoughts.
