  1. I forgot to mention, these tank will bolt onto an earlier car such a a 68 or 69. I don't know for sure if thet will work with anything earlier than that, though.
  2. I need to gauge interest to see if this is a feasible option at this point. We all need them, so why not go for it?? You've seen the new repro tanks out right now, and they're top notch! This would make a great addition to the engine compartments in our cars. There are two types of tanks for the big cars. They range from 70-72 in the years produced. 1970 Style has two mounting tabs that bolt to the inner lip of the front fender and one tab that bolts to the inner fender itself. 1971-72 style has all three mounting tabs on the inner fender. Please post your choice! I also have this thread runn
  3. I remember drooling over this car in the hotel parking lot. So sad he passed, though. I'm glad to see he made it to the centennial. I wonder how much it'll get up to!
  4. You could try www.taperformance.com They could at least point you in the right direction. Also, check out www.v8buick.com and there are tons of guys on the board with turbo cars with 455's stuffed into them...even with headers! Good luck!

  7. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Here are a few photos of the first attachement of the spoiler ends. They look pretty good. They will be red. We cut the trunk for the Cessna 172 wing struts only to find the Electra has triple walls back there! This was a tough job. The spoiler work will cost more than $2K because the trunk refinishing and the custom actuator setup. Tim asked me if I was sure I wanted to do it and I said "I've been waiting 20 years to put a spoiler like this on an Electra. Lets go!"</div>&
  8. Can you imagine what a mint 71 Centurion vert would bring if it was in this shape? wow! Neat wagon....I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for it though. I do remember it being on ebay a couple months back. I don't remember what it ended at.
  9. Where are you located? And how much would you LIKE to get out of it?
  10. dreaded "scissor top" And the 71 & up parade boots interchanged from Eldorado, Caprice, Grandville, LeSabre, Centurion......I think that's it. http://www.classiccaddies.com/new_page_2.htm They even make a "roadster" boot that covers the back seat to make the car look like a 2-seater. Unfortunately, these don't cover the years you're looking for.
