Best thing to do is a picture/image search on google. Type in '1933 Dodge truck' or '34 Dodge truck' & see what happens. I have a book on Dodge trucks. If u don't have any luck let me know. Manuel in Oz
Yep, thats a Holden Statesman, about 1972-4. Holden is the GM subsidary in Oz. They were the top model & came with Holden V8s & Chevvie small blocks. Hope this helps. Manuel in Oz
If u do a picture/image search for 1933, 34 or 35 Dodges u will find pics of restored cars/commercials. Try allpar.com for info. Hope this helps. Manuel in Oz
Have u done a search on the net. Type in 35 or 38 Dodge truck & click the images or picture tab. Also there used to be a couple of books on Dodge trucks. I will get the titles if u need them. Another good book is "The Dodge Story" by T. A. McPherson has pics of 35s & 38 hump panel. Manuel
Hi Glen, Is it an Ozzie body? If so it may be different from cars made elsewhere. T. J. Richards made alot of Dodge bodies in Adelaide. I think there are Dodge clubs in most capital cities, Melb may have one. Someone may have a '36 u could look at. Hope this helps Manuel
Hello Carl, That serial no sounds correct for a KC or KCL [L for Long wheelbase.] Which way do the doors open? The early ones had suicide doors & the later KCs had normal opening doors. Check the engine no. It still may have the original engine. The no is just below the head.[where it meets the block] Should start with T5 or T12. The model KOL u mention may be KCL. If so it should have 119" wheelbase. Normal KCs were 111". Most parts are common with the 1933 DP Dodge sedan. Hope this helps. Manuel
If its a half ton pickup the grilles should be the same as the 1933 Dodge passenger car. 1933 pickup was called the HC. 1934 & 35 were called the KC. They are all the same style as the 1933 sedan. In 1935 they changed the cab & used normal doors. The serial nos should give you some idea of what model your have there. Hope this helps Manuel
Hi, The Early Ford V8 Club of America & Ford Barn both have good forums on the net. [like this one] Do a search to find them, then just post a question. Also the person who advertises engine paint in Hemmings & other places has all the engine colours for old Fords. Hope this helps Manuel
Hello 33, I have a KC and am familiar with the nos. If u look at the engine above the generator up at the top of the block, where the head meets the block, you will find a raised surface where the no is stamped. This will get us started. Manuel
