  1. This is a 1913 Flanders model 50-Six. It was marketed and sold as a Maxwell 50-6, by the newly formed Maxwell Motor Co. Body was blue, with grey wheels (black striping) and black hood and fenders. Equipped with Gray and Davis electric lamps, generator and starter, as well as cigar lighter and trouble lamp.
  2. 1919 Maxwells were serially numbered 239823 through 266800. The first edition of the 1919 Instruction Book is dated August 1918. The first edition of the 1920 Instruction Book is dated July 1919. 1917 models were numbered 113259 through 193800. Hope this helps. Dave
