1. Looking for an original 1935 Chevrolet Master coupe (with suicide doors) to purchase for vintage car shows and summer drives. Willing to consider restoration projects if necessarry. I will be at 2004 Fall Hershey show with my other cars. Mark 607-974-3920 leave message or mpowley@stny.rr.com Location not a hindrance to purchasing vehicle. [color:\\"purple\\"]
2. For Sale: 1933 Chevrolet "Mercury Series" Standard Coupe, Price $20,000 dark blue with black fenders and beige interior, 32,000 miles, chrome is excellent, paint has age cracks, Corning, NY area (4hrs from Hershey) Contact Mark at 607 583 4968, mpowley@stny.rr.com for more photos and information. Photo is in attachment above. Car has been well maintained for original condition and not shown at any AACA or VCCA events.
3. I was told of a car made by Oldsmobile in 1958 nicknamed the "Jukebox". Is there a photo of this car anywhere? They said it had the most chrome trim of any car ever produced. What does it look like?
4. The grille should be 2 tone w/silver (not sure of the exact color) on the face of the grille slats and black on the interior portion. The RS and RS/SS had silver on the horizontal slats face.
I have original sales brochures that show this in the car photograph sections. The sections that were artist drawn do not show the 2 tone grille for the SS, it does for the RS.
5. Rick,
For some reason I think you are right about the black and silver grille. I will do more investigating and try to find out for sure.
I have some original papers that may show this. I have had conflicting opinions on what is correct, expressed by a lot of camaro enthusiasts.
6. Interested in discovering the correct color for a 1968 Camaro SS grille? I would assume black, but I learned not to assume anymore.
7. I have never shown a car before. I think trophies are fine, but I would show the car just so it could be viewed by people who appreciate automobiles. I'm 38 years old and trying to get my car collection growing.
Life to me is about learning and meeting people from all walks of life, with autos thrown in for the icing on top.
Thanks for the replies.
