I believe the brown color was rose beige. I have a pretty good memory of the color, but no documentation. If you don't come up with it a better way, it may be the same as on the back of glove box lid on 40 Cadilac, which I likely have a sample of.

1931 Ford A400 and 1948 Chryler New Yorker convertible

Folks, you are missing something on comfort and ease of entry. The two door sedan cars, which include A400 and Vicky cars have seats that are easily adapted to go back farther, hence making room for taller folks. A four door has a fixed seat with less opportunity to make adjustments past the stock adjustment. And for those having difficulty getting in an open car, put the top down. Respectfully, Joe Goss -

WANTED: Any Woodie Station Wagon from 1928 to 1953.

1929 Ford A station wagon needing complete restoration , for $6000. -
I have a rather large one that is all original and likely not used but a bit shelf worn, and has flaking paint. Most drawers are labeled for use. The front folds down to make a table. It has an ice box. I have not had it out to look at in years, but I would get it out and send some digital images, if you are interested at $800.

Wanted to buy tux away or tuck away for Model A Ford
gossjh replied to a topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
. Mine was sold with the car it was installed on . FYI I added side curtain enclosure to it also. -
Post #7 says vertical cylinders while image shows a horizontal arrangement. Just something to note. The radiator is similar to Cartercar of 1907 time frame

Frank, It is not what you asked for, but might work out. I have a 1961 Ford C700 cab over with enclosed beaver tailed box on back with ramp door. I am not sure what it is worth, but I have too much stuff and want to retire. It is super solid has about 38,000 miles. It is pretty much original, but in primer exterior paint. Trades for something smaller or offers encouraged. Joe Goss, Lafayette, IN Phone (765)427-7078 -
One more thought. Is there any chance the clutch peddle is grounding out the battery cable? Watch the amp meter next time.

If interested, I have a Bosh 6 cylinder mag for $360. I know nothing of it's condition. It has smallish domed distributor that it verticle. Located in Lafayette, IN Joe

In case this might help also, I have a leather cover that I believe is for 1939 Chev column shift lever cover. It is sewn leather with sort of a holster shape. It has a hole approximately 3/8 inch about were the trigger would go( if it really were a holster) and two sewn in wires ( 4 ends) for binding it in place at the hammer end. This is either NOS or NORS with some staining. $15 shipping to 48 included. Joe
