You sure it's not a wheel bearing?
-
Even if the dealership doesn't stock the blanks, they can provide the you with the code that a proper locksmith can use to reproduce the key.

I'd start with the accumulator as you certainly need it. As perviously mentioned you should get it from Ronnie's "Reatta Store" for the best price.
There's a high probability that that is all you will need, and it is easy for even a non-mechanic to change.

Moved from the Reatta Forum..

It's worth pointing out that it's entirely possible (likely IMO) that the youtube account was suspended for other content it had posted completely unrelated to a 25 year old educational video. Just sayin'.

The correct split loom to use is "high temperature" should have a white line running the length of it AFAIR.

I ran them on my old '89 with no problems.

...and I did leave a re-direct here on the main section so it wouldn't be difficult to find. I had originally left it alone here in the main section, but once you started bumping the thread, it seemed more appropriate to move it to the Buy/Sell section where "for sale" posts are supposed to go.

This is for a member of my old CLC division on Long Island. Car is a '74 DeVille located in Monticello, MN and I'm hoping someone can give it a once-over and maybe take some photos and give him a report on the condition.
1974 Cadillac DeVille, $4,000 - Cars.com
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The timing chain broke on my old '89 Reatta. The 3800 is a non-interference design, so you don't have to worry about bent valves.

I'm thinking Ford Windstar for the buckets.

Yer pays yer money and yer takes yer chancet.
Tell me about it. In an effort to avoid dealing with the unknowns of junkyard parts, I did the Delco upgrade using all-new parts. I had two new(!) coils die in the first six months.
-
Can you expand why it's different? Is it due to the width or shape of the 91 armrest slope or latch?
Yes, yes, yes and yes. The '88-89 armrest and center console are completely completely different in nearly every way. There is no opportunity for armrest interchange between the two designs.

Rockauto.com has the rear calipers for cheaper at the moment..

I'm sure you could get it titled/registered and bankruptcy or not, the specter of GM coming after the car borders on science fiction.
Cowl shake is a whole 'nuther issue though..

I'll second using contact cement for the peeling-back vinyl. I've done that repair on a number of Trans Sports with dash curl and it worked.

I've done some updates to the Reatta Resources Sticky.
Of particular note, I have located a nationwide craigslist search that is still in operation and doesn't suck, which I figured I'd call to your attention as I imagine "regulars" probably never look at the sticky.
AutoTempest Used Car Search Engine - Everyone's ideal car is out there. Find yours.
Aside from the usual updating for expired discount codes and the like, I added Reattas.com to the vendor list and dumped ownster.com (as without craigslist results it's fairly useless). I kept Jaxed.com as it still returns meaningful results even without craigslist.
If anyone has satisfactorily used BBA Reman for instrument cluster repair, please let me know as their pricing appears to be good if they provide quality service; and as always, if you have a source that you believe merits inclusion or have a problem with a vendor on the list and feel they should be removed please let me know (via PM if it's a complaint).

I'm fairly certain about the Centurys, Here's a pic of a '96 from Autotrader.

Rockauto. $198 for the compressor.

'90-93 Rivieras for sure..
'90-96(?) Centurys
91-93(?) Roadmasters

Define wander. In stock form the car tends to run hot in stop and go. Temps in excess of 230 are "normal". I personally don't like see temps that high so I Installed a "Padgett PROM" which takes a more aggressive stance about controlling coolant temperature. Temps are rarely go over 200 now, even in AZ heat.

The lens is polycarbonate.
While I have graduated to a professional polishing machine for dealing with the lens, I still do a final application with Aeroshell Flight Jacket Plexicoat. The UV inhibiters seem to significantly retard the re-oxidation process. It's inexpensive too.

Unless someone did a top-shelf repaint into the inner fender panels, door sills and door edges, I don't think the color was changed.
Strut towers are dark blue.
