  7. Here is a trick that I was taught more than 50 yrs. ago, worked fine every time. Pull the cotter pin, back off the nut even with the end of the axle, place a piece of aluminum against the end of the axle and hit it a good shot with a heavy hammer. Good Luck.   8. Seeking a Remy master switch (ignition and light) for 1924 special six 5 pass. coupe.I had one with car, and it shattered like glass when dropped. Would take whole dash with instuments if don't want to separate. Also does anyone have color chips or codes for same car. Thanks, WALT
  9. At the time I worked for Curtiss Wright they had their hands into everything. They had rights to the Wankle Engine, Mercedes, NSU Prinz, and were working on a revolutionary automatic trany.They even had a "Air Car" which was a ground flotation vehicle. I think they built three of them. Last I saw of them is in Army Trans. Museum at Fort Eustas VA. Lots of 56 Packard Trim on it. HA!I witnessed many trial runs on it, up and down the runway at Caldwell N.J."Those were the days"
  10. Looking for an ignition/light switch for a "26" Special Six Studebaker 5 Pass.Coupe. A Remy, has two switch levers and a key. It is 3-3/4 inch diameter. Will consider whole dash if available. Thanks, WAlt.
  11. Does anyone have a Remy Igition/Light Switch for a "24" Special Six in their pile? Has two handles and key, Fits 3 3/4" hole.Any help appreciated. WALT.
  12. Mark and Rick, Thanks alot for the picture. I could not get it on my computer, but my son got it on his.I guess the Blue has it. I am waiting for my plating to be finished. I can't run the engine without the radiator shell.I am working on the body in the meantime. Hope to be on the road in the Spring. Thanks again, WALT.
  13. Hey guy's, I still do not have a positive answer to my question. Now I have an answer that the emblem would be the same color of the car. Does this make sense? Guy say's only three colors were available, Red, Blue, and Black?

  24. If this is a Falcon Knight you should be able to tell by the engine, as they had a Knight Sleeve Valve Engine. Very different from Normal. WALT
  25. Hey Chevy Guy, You mentioned that the car has layed for sometime. Check to make sure the clutch disk is not frozen to the flywheel or pressure plate. This is often the case. WALT
