1. Hi Greg, I think I have the driver rear door molding, but mine measures 41" in lenght? Are you sure yours is 48"? I'd like $50 if I have to send it or $25 if you can pick it up (Austin, Tx.). Checked the inside window trim and its all rusted away! Henry.
henry_polastry@altavista.com

What you have will be 5 inch bolt center. Henry.
3. A Chevy powered '40 Olds versus two Mustangs? I have voted for the Olds simply because it's not a Mustang for a change! Henry.
4. Justin, Here's my email. henry_polastry@altavista.com Henry.
5. I have a pair of manual left and right chrome mirrors from a '71 Skylark (plain no tri-shield). Also have one driver side manual tri-shield from a '70 Skylark. $75.00 for all 3 and I can meet you in N SA, Tx. on the 1st Sunday of any month. Henry
6. Call Mark Polastry in Webberville, Tx. at 512-303-0833. He'll have a lot of trim parts for this car. Henry.
7. Justin, they are found on '66 model year 425's and some '66 GS Skylarks. The manifold will have two small holes for the primaries in front while it has very large holes in the rear for the secondaries.
I have manifold and air cleaner from a '66 Riviera that I'd sell. I'm in Austin, Tx. Manifold for 100 and air cleaner for 50. I no longer have the carb.
Henry
8. I always thought it was a strange name for a car company... KIA...KILLED IN ACTION Henry
9. The Sport Wagon doors are several inches longer due to the longer wheelbase. Special wagon doors and 4 door sedan doors differ in the upper area due to different window shape. Henry.
10. One thing to ask about if you deal with Ken McGee for a Buick part manual is if it a Canadian Buick dealship parts manual or a USA edition. You will find many variations between US and Canadian editions. Henry.

66 skylark

Steve call Mark Polastry in Webberville, Tx. 512-303-0833. He's parting out a couple of '66's with nice nonrusty bumpers and non pitted diecast. He has parts advertised in the Buick Bugle. Henry.
12. Try Mark Polastry in Webberville, Tx 512-303-0833. He has a dozen or so '64-'67 Special and Skylarks that he's parting out.
On eBay there is a pair of rear quarter molding on auction right now! Henry.
13. Pat it's not possible to enter a lower amount than the starting bid on eBay so you'll have to bid 20.00 to have your bid accepted.
Henry
14. Brad54, It just so happens that every year between 1964 to 1972 442's were available with bucket seats or a bench seat. I'm not sure as to '73 and newer years of 442's. Henry.
15. Does your car have disc brakes or drum brakes? Let us know! I'll get you connected if its a drum system. Henry.
16. I know Chevrolet's had a padded dash option in 1956. 1966 was the first year for padded dashes as standard equipment on all Chevy passenger cars. Also many cars as they are restored lose the option padded dash in favor of painting the dash panel. Henry

Jetfire

The '64 Jetstar I is a full size car based on the Starfire body shell. It also used a 394 cid big block engine. The '65 Jetstar I also share the Starfire body shell along with the new 425 cid big block engine.
The Jetstar 88 were offered as a 2dr hdtp, 4dr hdtp, 4dr sedan, and a convert in '64 and '65. In '66 the last year of the Jetstar 88 the convert was no longer offered. This series was only available with the 330 small block and used a small 4 X 3/4" wheel bolt pattern like an A body car. Henry.
[ 12-26-2001: Message edited by: 66400 ]
18. I recieved my Jan. 2002 Journey With Olds (Oldsmobile Club of America magazine) on Dec. 24 and I find it odd that this site is not mentioned in it. This site holds the promise as being just as useful for Olds info as the Buick Club of Anerica site.
On the '59-'60 GM cars the post sedans had a domed or convexed shape to the roof which increased the headroom as compared to the flat top on the 4dr hardtop. Henry
19. It should have 15" wheels, front and rear sway bars and transmission oil coolers. Henry.
20. Don, 442 did stand for 4bl, 4spd, dual exhaust for the 1964 442. It came with a 330 cid 4 bl engine, 4 speed tranny was the only one available. In 1965 it was given a 400 cid engine 3 spd or 4 spd manual trans and 2 spd automatics. Thus it is now 400, 4bl, dual exhaust. In '66 they also had a 3 two bl option so by now it was just a name. Henry.

22. I have one for 100 plus shipping removed from a '66 Riviera 425. Henry
23. Call Mark Polastry in Webberville,Tx. at 512-303-0833. He has a dozen '64-'67 Skylark/Special parts cars. By the way I think you find that a convertible door glass will only work from a convert. Henry
