I've always felt that the car had original drive train, every thing is neat and in place under the hood and the dash shift selector is for a 2spd auto transmission. The badges look correctly installed. Thanks, Henry

I'm puzzled now in regards to a '68 LeSabre I own. It has "400" badges on the rear quarters below the LeSabre scripts but the car is equipped with a 2bl 350 engine and 2 spd auto transmission. Any thoughts? Henry.

As you look down on the top of the engine it should be right in front of the intake manifold behind the water pump. Henry
-
What do you want for the rear end? Thanks, Henry.

Recently on ebay there was a 65 Olds 88 4dr 425/3spd standard and posi. Claimed to be an ex police?car. Was over priced, did not receive any bids, listed at 5,000. Do a search for completed item # 1870697501. Henry

One could take a 71-75 Buick convert and adapt the same year Electra quarter panels, trunk lid and rear bumper in order to get the Electra convert look. Much easier than trying to alter a 2dr hdtp to a convert. Henry

The Buicks used 15" wheels instead of 14" wheels used by Olds. Henry

Let's not forget about the '76-'79 Cadillac Seville which was the top of the Cadillac line used 350 Oldsmobile engines exclusivly. Henry

Hi John,
You can use the complete '76 front end assembly(fenders/hood/core support/grill/bumper with attachments) if you don't mind the change of styling between the '73/'76 Buicks. Henry

After I voted Olds stands at 62% and AMC 25%. Henry

1970 was the last year for 98 converts. Henry

The rear quarter window regulators completly interchange.
The front window regulators are 1969 only.
Front door regulators 1970-'71-'72 interchange.
This information pertains to 2dr hdtp and convert body styles with manual or power regulators. Henry

Put me down for a '40 or a '41 4dr Convert Phaeton 98!
That black '49 or '50 Sedan Delivery that shows up once in a while(1 of 1?)!
Or an additional '66 442 L69
'65-'66-'67 F-85 B07 Police Apprehender Highway Patrol Package car
'67-'68 Delmont 425 88 B07
Maybe another '91-92 Custom Crusier with 000000.0 mi to replace my 120,000 mi one with.
I just can't stop at one!! Henry

With the side windows rolled down you can slide a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood into the cars interior. Henry

A coupe would be a 2 dr with a post.
Also Holiday was used as a trim package in the latter '70's and early '80's Oldsmobiles.

Holiday is the Oldsmobile marketing term for the hardtop body style during most years of production. Henry

'66 hood does not interchange for a '67, the front edge of the hood is of different design, will not match to the grille. Henry

Give Mark a call at 512-303-0833 in Texas. He should have some, he's parting out 25+ '64 thru '67 Skylarks and Specials. Henry

Scott there goes all my research! One other key may be that all I've looked at have been Lansing assembled cars. Fisher body plants may have used that code on the Cutlass trim level 442's due to different hole punching for the 442 badges on the quarter panels. Henry
-
Every '66 442 in the Cutlass trim level that I've looked (at least 20 of them) at you will find on the firewall data plate the code letters VY. Henry

Sold, still have 455 motor mount pads.

I've sold the engine, will part out car. Henry
-
Yes it fits BUT it's a different style! The hole where the parking/turn signal lights fit are much smaller on a Special bumper than the Skylark/GS/SportWagon bumper. You will need to use Special parking lights with the Special bumper. Henry

Mike, the code #s are stamped on the inside of the rim so not viewable with tire mounted. Henry

While it may fit a Chevy 409 it is not the correct style for a Chevy.
