  1. My '88 Reatta VN # is 903380 I'm the original owner. It has Sunroof and no suede seats. Has the gold horn button.
  2. It is seldom that I miss a show on Saturday. One of the most humorous "clean" shows you can find. It is highly informative in a non complicated way.
  3. Hi My Red 1988 Reatta has red moulding and gold pin stripe. The other Red Reatta in town has black molding. Joe
  4. Allen I'll take two of each, at those prices. Joe
  5. I am interested in both sizes. I will take two of the smaller size, and would like to know the price of the larger size. Joe

    One less Reatta

I'd like to voice my sentiment also,it is a joy to know that you were able to survive an accident of that magnitude. I can well understand your feeling that a "Guardian Angel" was watching over you. I hope you continue to improve from the remaining pain. You are right about others sharing similar experiences on this forum. I feel more confident in the crash worthiness of my Reatta in each one I hear. The first that really got my attention, was some years ago when Brenda (Reatta2go) put the pictures of her first accident on her web site. I was astonished at those pictures and her account of the accident. As I recall she walked away from that one unscathed. I think she was a little shaken up on the last one, if I remember correctly. I'd better quit rambling. Anyway, get well quick Jack. Joe

    reatta interior

Welcome aboard,Tama Sioux. I too am a mechanical idiot, but these guys and gals on this forum can guide you,and or(as in my case)your mechanic and service technician through almost any of the countless problems that may confront you with your Reatta, I suggest though that the first thing you should do is get your self a Reatta/Reatta Service Manual. <BR>Enjoy!<BR>Hipster Joe <BR>
  8. My '88 Reatta was the first car we got with front wheel drive. I live on a hill and used to have a terrible time getting up during heavy snow with my other cars. The first time I got caught down the hill during a heavy snow, I was pleasantly surprised at the ease in making it up. I've been driving in the snow with my Reatta for almost 14 years, and 42K mi <P>Joe<P>I still use My Goodyear Tires. Second Set<p>[ 04-20-2002: Message edited by: Hipster ]
  9. Hi Greg,<BR>Congratulations. I just turned 40000 mi,on my Red '88 and it still looks fabulous on the outside, but alas, I still haven't come up with the ideal cup holder, and the coffee is still flowing periodically on the inside. :-) <BR>By the way, I'd like to thank you again for your invaluable input in figuring out my trunk lock problem.<BR>Joe

    88 sold

Hi<BR>Is the cassette in good condition? If so How much for it?<BR>Joe
  11. I remember When the '89's came out with keyless entry I asked the Buick Dealer that I bought My Reatta from if they could add the keyless entry to my '88, and they told me that they could. That Dealer sold out several years ago and I have transfered my service trade to a GMC dealer here in town who does not sell Buicks. I never had the addition done though. After thinking about it at that time I wanted to keep it original. Since you reminded me of the thought, I may change my mind now. It is so convenient on my La Saber and I'm not quite that finicky about my Reatta anymore and the older I get the more convenience matters<BR>Joe
  12. Thanks Howard, and A very Merry Christmas To You and to All as well.<BR>Joe
  13. This topic was covered on the forum on 03/09/01,under "Trunk lid will not open"<BR>GM Ross was one of the many contributers that guided me in the right direction. My solution was covered in the topic "Trunk lid finally repaired" Dated 04/18/01. I dont do my own work but there is a lot of info there for those thst do.<BR>Joe
  14. The mail must be slower here in Kansas. Just got my Bugle copy yesterday. I agree oon that fine article. Thanks
  15. You ought to quote a price on this forum also. I wouldn't mind a convertible to go with my '88 Hardtop, if the price were right(for me)<BR>Joe
  16. By the way, where does this project stand at this time? I'm still interested, and waiting.<BR>Joe
  17. is this Reatta with the 16 way seats and sunroof?
  18. Well, the problem finally hit my cassette. I would also like to be added to the list. I must say that it is so nice to have such thoughtful and generous people on this forum. I want to add my thanks for the tremendous effort it must have taken in carrying out a project like this and to share it with everyone. <P>Joe
  19. I would be interested in driver side tan leather seatcovers for an "88 with 16 way seats, with the thigh support and complete tan carpet for front interior. Joe
  20. Thanks Brenda,<BR>I took it in,(my Reatta). They kept it all day, but said they called all around and could not find a belt that would fit in tan. In fact the only one that they found was a navy blue color. I told them that I would try to see if I could get one through someone on the forum for them to install. Where did you order your belt from? Do they still have another? Joe
  21. To all<BR>My seatbelt on the driver side of my "88 Reatta will not retract at the lap section. As most of you who know me know that I am not capable of doing most repair work. However if anyone has had any experience with repairing or replacing this belt. I would appreciate any info you can provide on the procedure so that I can have an idea of what my dealer will have to do,and how long it takes so that I dont get ripped off, considering the $70/hr labor that they charge<BR>Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
