  1. I have a friend/customer that is looking for a 69 Cutlass or 442 project car. 2 dr Hardtop or post (no convertibles). Complete car preferred that needs restoration. Minor rust in body OK. Call Tom Joyce at 262-886-9806 or e-mail me at joycebrosrest@wi.rr.com Thank You !
  2. Hi, It has a 455, as far as I know that's the only way the 98's came. Friends I have talked to say that for sure 73 and 74 are the same and probly 72. The big block manifolds will have a big letter near the end exhaust port (small blocks will have a number). Thanks for the reply, let me know. Tom
  3. Hey Tom, Looks like Strum is quite a ride from the Racine area. Was hoping I could come pick up the manifolds and meet you but I guess not. Are you a member of the Olds Club of Wisconsin? We have a "Holiday Party" in March at the Dells. It is quite a good deal, you join the Club for $18.00 and you get a free Banquet meal for you and your spouse or a guest (about a $60.00 value). No catches, if you are a member you can come, that's it. It is a really nice time and a chance for all of us from around the State to meet or catch up. If you want info about joining just let me know. I will let you know about the manifolds as soon as the guy gets over here for me to look at the car, should be tomorrow if it isn't raining. Talk soon, Thanks again. Tom
  4. Hey, Are you THE Tom Petersen in Racine? That's OK on the Omega, thanks for looking. I'm just trying to help Bobby Hugasian out, he needs them for a car he backed into I guess. Yeh put my name on the manifolds, the customer is coming over one day this week and I will see for sure what he needs and take note of what they look like and get numbers if I can. Thanks again, Tom Joyce
  5. Need a set of exhaust manifolds for a '74 98. I would think 72-76 would be the same at the least. If you have anything message me here, or better yet, e-mail me at joycebrosrest@wi.rr.com or give me a call at 262-886-9806. Thank you ! Tom Joyce
  6. Hey Tom, I'm not sure what years, if any, will interchange, I will try to do some homework. I'll appreciate your checking/asking at your friends. Tom
  7. I have a pair of 65 Ford 289 heads. These head use the large, 18MM, plugs and come with the valves and springs. They need to be re-done but they came off a running motor so I know there are no cracks or other problems with them. They would have to be picked up here just South of Milwaukee but I only want $50.00 for the pair. Call or e-mail me if you need them. 262-886-9806 joycebrosrest@wi.rr.com
  8. I have a pair of bucket seat cores out of a 64 Cutlass Sport Coupe. I'm sure they will fit all 64-67 GM A-Body cars. They are all there but they spent their whole life in Arizona so the foam and upholstery are shot but the frames are really nice and rust free. Asking $200.00 for the pair. I don't care to try to ship them but if you are anywhere near the Milwaukee (SE Wisconsin) area and can pick them up that will work. I also would talk about meeting you part way if you are further away. Give me a call at 262-886-9806 or e-mail me at joycebrosrest@wi.rr.com Thanks, Tom
  9. I have a good friend who needs a grill and a left (drivers side) front headlight bezel. If you can help E-mail me at tjoyce@wi.rr.com or call me at 262-886-9806 (Central time zone) Thanks, Tom
  10. We have no tail lights, instrument lights or brake lights on our 65 Falcon hardtop. There is no power to the instument light fuse or the brake light switch. Anyone know where the power feed is to the brake light switch and the tailights? I can get the dash lights to light by jumpering 12 volts to the fuse but still no tailights or brake lights. I am working with a fuse box on the left kick panel, seems like there should be more fuses, are there more somewhere else. This is the first Ford I have owned since about 1970 so any help would surely be appreciated. thanks, Tom
  11. Picking up a car in Detroit early this Saturday morning, trailer will be empty from Milwaukee to there. Short notice I know but will haul something cheap along that route. CALL Tom Joyce 262-886-9806
  12. Yes, that's the one. No idea why the part number was so far off for a 69. Thanks a lot for the help guys. Tom
  13. Wanted to buy: a grill for the otherwise nice 70 Bird I just bought. If you have anything, please e-mail me at joycebrosrest@wi.rr.com or give me a call (CDT) at 262-886-9806. Thanks, Tom
  14. Hey Guys, Thanks for all the effort, I never thought it would be such a big deal. Glen, it does have a point above and below the keyhole, kinda resembles a shield type thing I guess. I will get a length measurment and some pics first chance I get. I will have to e-mail them to you, I am too old to try to figure out how to post picture on the site. Thanks again, Tom
  15. Hey Guys, sorry, I have been out of town and/or really busy. The die cast piece in question is definitely Olds since it says O-L-D-S-M-O-B-I-L-E on the right end of it. It must go on the trunk since there is a hole in the center of it to access the key hole. My old GM Olds Parts Book (75 printing) only shows parts starting with the 77--- as 68 parts. Guess I will have to pay more attention at the upcoming Olds shows, maybe I can spot one. Thanks for your help and for trying. Tom
  16. I have a rear differetial carrier with 3.89 gears from my 42,000 mile 56 Ford for sale. That's a nice get off the line ratio but still reasonable on the highway. The previous owner installed a 9 inch but gave me this with the car. I won't ship it but if you can pick it up, the price is $90.00. I am about one hour north of Chicago and about a half hour south of Milwaukee right off I-94. I will be going to Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay on Saturday August 5th and could drop it along that route. Give me a call at 262-886-9806 if interested. Thanks, Tom
  17. I have a long die cast piece for the rear of what appears to be a 68 full size Olds. It either goes under the lower edge of the trunk lid or on the bottom edge of it. It has part number 7799208 cast into the rear of it. My parts book is a 1975 printing and I can't find it in there, does anyone have an older printing that might be able to help me verify its' application. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Tom Joyce

  23. Finally decided to part with my old 98, it has just been sitting around for a couple years now. The body is fair to good (I have owned it since Spring of 1980 and it has never been out in our Wisconsin winters.), the interior has been out in the sun way too long. It has a strong running super dependable '69 455 that is basically stock except for a Crane Cam and adjustable rockers. It also has a TH 400 trans with a #2 B&M Transpac installed and a big 3.08 posi rear out of a full sized wagon. Clean and paint the drivetrain and it is ready, it uses or leaks no oil. This would also make a great chassis for a 50's custom. Asking $950.00 for the drivetrain the rest is free. Runs and drives. Tom Joyce 262-886-9806
