65 Wildcat dashboard assembly that was unbolted from the body of the car.
Color: gray
Missing parts:
-Padded dash panel
-Radio
-Heater control
-Fresh air vent controls
All other parts are on the dashboard, including the two large instrument pods and the complete dash wiring harness still plugged in.
No clock--This car was not equipped with a clock.
$50
I will have this dashboard at the Buick Club National Meet, in the outdoor swap meet beginning on Wednesday.

NOS Right Front fender from what I think is from a full-size 1969 Pontiac. The front edge of a '68 and '70 fenders are different than this fender.
This fender is factory drilled for the small rectangular side marker light, along with holes for a side trim piece running back from the side marker light to the rear edge of this fender.
In factory black primer.
No part number on this fender, but stamped on the inner area near where the hood hinge bolts on is: "B2 14 M"

Yes, I remember George and Larry from years ago. I hope that they can be at the National Meet. If you have a way to contact them, encourage both to be at this show!

I'm a former member of the Chicagoland Chapter BCA from the 1970's. I'd like to take a group photo of anyone alive and attending the 2022 BCA National in Lisle that was a member during the early years. The Chicagoland Chapter was founded in 1971, and I know that there are several early members that are planning to be at the 2022 National meet, a couple of them with 3-digit BCA numbers.
A small reunion to take a few photos on Saturday during the show would be nice. Details will be announced during the days leading up to the Saturday show.

Hi Steve,
Yes, your memory is correct! I dressed for the occassion, and was wearing an original Buick Salesman's sport jacket, complete with a beautiful embroidered Tri-Shield on the front pocket. I bought the jacket at one of the early BCA National Meets. It is in perfect condition, barely used, and it fits me perfectly. My guess is the jacket is from the 1960's.
The photo here was taken on July 26, 2003 before the banquet.

Here are what the 2003 Banquet and awards presentation tickets looked like. Due to the high number of people attending, the banquet was outside under large tents. The awards presentation was inside in the auditorium.
I still have these tickets as shown in the photo.

Here is a photo that I took at Hot Rod Cafe in Post Falls, Idaho, of Brian's beautiful '59 Electra Flattop. This was the first night out of Seattle with a caravan of Buicks heading to Flint in 2003. I'll add to what Brian mentioned in another posting, that this week was a Buick lovers dream come true!!
I sure wanted to buy the '55 Buick couch that was in Hot Rod Cafe! They also had a '56 Buick couch, and the front end of a small series '55 Buick on the wall above the bar!

60Flattop mentioned the 1956 Buick chassis on display at this meet. The restoration work was very high quality, and I still think about that chassis to this day, and what model '56 body will be reinstalled on the chassis. What is the status of that chassis nowadays? Is the body back on the chassis? My guess is that the Century pedal car seen in one of these photos that I took at the meet in 2003 was a prediction of what the real car was going to look like once it was completed.

On this day, July 26th, in 2003, the BCA celebrated the 100th anniversary of Buick Motor Division with a national meet in Flint, Michigan. It's hard to believe that was 17 years ago! What a fantastic show that was!
I brought my '55 Roadmaster Riviera back "home" again for the 2003 meet, covering over 9,278 miles roundtrip to attend that meet. The Fireball V-Eight engine ran like a champ. I drove the entire length of the Alaska Highway during that trip. The whole trip was from July 6, 2003, to August 9, 2003, with a few stops in Seattle and Chicago. That road trip and BCA meet was the "Thrill of the Year" for me!
Buicks are meant to be DRIVEN!

In 1977, I attended the BCA National Meet held in Strongsville, Ohio. This meet was held at a Holiday Inn in Strongsville. I just looked at my 35mm Kodak slides I took at this meet to confirm that the 1977 show was at a Holiday Inn.
Does anybody know if the 2021 BCA National Meet at the Strongsville Holiday Inn is the same Strongsville Holiday Inn used for the 1977 meet?

I've been driving my '55 Roadmaster Riviera with an original set of Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels since the early 1970's, always with bias ply tires and have never had any spokes break. This includes driving cross country, and driving the whole length of the Alaska Highway on these wire wheels. These wheels still have the factory chrome plating, and have never been taken apart.
Yes, these wire wheels take a long time to properly clean, but they look beautiful on a car. Here's what I have done for the past 40 years to clean my wire wheels: I always remove the 4 wheels off of my Roadmaster to wash them. With the wheels off, I can clean the inside of the rim thoroughly and to my standards. If you don't remove the wheels, the brake drum makes it difficult to get way in the back of the rim to clean the dirt. Also, while the tires are off the car, the inside of the tire can also be scrubbed clean. I like to see a clean tire and a shiny chrome rim when I look under the car at the inside of the wheels on my '55. I usually spend about 45 minutes cleaning each wheel.
The photo shows one of the wheels off the car just after cleaning it.

Buick drivers,
I couldn't get my Buick out of the garage until this past weekend due to a pile of snow on my driveway, right at the garage door. I got the snow and ice shoveled out of the way this weekend, and I took my 1955 Roadmaster 76R for a short Sunday drive on beautiful, dry highways! This was the first time that I've been able to drive my '55 since last October due to icy or wet road conditions.
The Fireball V-Eight engine ran like a champ!

The NOS Motorcraft pulley/bearing looks like the one I need. I'll check the FoMoCo part number to confirm. Thank you wldavis
My car uses a V-belt, not a serpentine fan belt. Victorialynn2, I'm going to check out Parts Geek.com because what I need looks like what is pictured in their website. I'm guessing that on Ford products, the pulley and bearing might be the same for a whole bunch of models, and just the support bracket that holds the pulley is different between models. Good lead--Thank you!
Once I have a new pulley/bearing assembly, then I might also try going to an industrial bearing supply to match a new bearing as Rusty 'Toole suggests just for having a spare part for the future.

I've been unsuccessful at several local parts stores and Rock Auto in trying to buy an idler pulley/belt tensioner for my 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V with a 400 cubic inch engine. This idler pulley puts tension on the air conditioning fan belt, and is manually adjusted, not spring loaded. Does anyone know if this part is available somewhere, or can just the sealed bearing be replaced? It looks like the idler pulley can be disassembled, and perhaps just the bearing be replaced. The only problem with my idler pulley is that the bearing is worn.
I tried using an idler pulley assembly from a 302 Ford engine of the same vintage, but the offset is different, so the pulley did not align with the fan belt.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

The '31 Packard speedometer is oval, and has a window showing the numbers of the car's speed, not a needle pointing to the speed as in most speedometers.

I bought my set of BCA license plate frames about 45 years ago possibly at Flint 1971 or Flint 1972. If I recall, the national BCA club was selling them, not a region.
Yes, they are chrome plated metal.

WTB- '49 50/70 Series Trunk Handle
in Buick - Buy/Sell

I'm looking for a trunk handle for a '49 Super Sedanet, Model 56S. Either NOS or excellent used. '49 Buicks used 3 different trunk handles, depending on model and also early/late production. The differences were in the length of the shaft. The shaft length I need is 5-9/32" according to the Buick parts book.
Here's the Buick part number needed:
