Here is an original for purposes of comparison. The initials on the reverse side personalize it. Have no idea re original ownership. I have numerous FOB's from this era.

An extensive article on The Shanghai Horse Bazaar was written for the Sept/Oct 1974 issue of The Antique Studebaker Review by the editor's son Terry Cannon. In addition to the comprehensive 13 page article there were 25 photographs. If you are sufficiently interested I believe you could probably find an original copy of this publication or as a last resort I could scan my original. Other sources include the July/August 1972 issue of the same publication in which George Goodrich the son of the original owner of the museum car(Coy Goodrich) tells the story of the fathers connection to the car and the importing of the body into the U.S. in 1923 and its installation on the Light Six chassis. In more recent times there was a extensive article with numerous color photos in the Dec. 2006 issue of Hemmings Classic Car. I have all of these plus the photos.

Yes, likely built at the Shanghai Horse Bazaar on the Light Six chassis. Have several photos of the facility and production of bodies on the Studebaker chassis. The Studebaker National Museum of course has one of the few surviving examples, a sporty coupe in medium blue. The topic has been covered in The Antique Studebaker Review.

1925-26 Special Six model EQ.

If it is a 1930 it is a model 53 and it did NOT use a Continental engine. It used a Studebaker Six. The engine number is stamped on the side of the block above the water manifold.

That would indicate a Dictator model GE 4-door sedan but no way to divine whether 1st, 2nd or 3rd design without the serial number. Of course a photo would also tell me. See attachment for 3rd design features. Note specifically the radiator shell and visor as compared to the one I posted originally (2nd design). Of course the wire wheels and side mounts were both extra cost options available on either series.

The Studebaker National Museum would likely have the blueprint.

Assuming you are referring to the part shown? If so all 1932-33 Studebaker models used the same lock.

Sounds like the condenser. Has happened to me. Give that a try first, cheaper and easier. Then move on the coil if that doesn't cure it.

Well it was standard with the Speedster model. They were a deluxe version of the Big Six model EK. The salient feature of this model was the side mount spare tires, trunk and rub rails at the rear of the body as shown in the images below. There are a fair number of survivors of this model as they were offered in the 1922-23-24 model years. The 1923-24 models are distinguishable by their nickeled radiator shells. The '22's were painted.

Do you have all the misc trim incl grilles, fender lights, misc. ornaments and stainless, hub caps, trim rings etc. How about clock, radio and all instruments, if so good NOS or ? I assume overdrive? Have you had the engine running? How about brakes?

No, lots of literature and documentation though.

I might add that I do have some spare (used) rear fenders.

The auction ran for a week and ended without a bid ($3500). Still for sale if interested. Very little will interchange between the Coupe Express or Dictator (grille, bumpers, rear fenders) and the President. Of course you could put a Coupe Express body and box on the President chassis and create a '37 President Coupe Express. Studebaker never made one but there are two '39s and two '38s that have been recreated in this fashion.

Have this NOS left front fender for sale $750 or best. I remember trying to find a pair of these when I was restoring my '38 Coupe Express. Had to settle for good used that required some body work. This fender needs no repair. Contact info on photo.
