1. I'm trying to identify this set of hubcaps. Thanks Year and make?
2. Great thanks. Will make effort to match up with Graham owner looking for one...(Hubcap) First thought headlamps where from Buick, but no match yet.
3. UPDATE: Thanks for replies, identified both. ==================== Have a couple oddballs (well to me...) HUBCAP: Odd 1920's, early 30's era hubcap. Logo has circle and pointer on it. Headlamps, guess early 1960's. Have looked at lots of makes, but maybe missed a model. Look familiar? - Thanks
4. I have just listed a 1931 Dodge (I think) Was also told it goes to 1930 DD Dodge. Instrument panel, with oval style speedometer, fuel gauge, amp gauge and oil gauge.Note the design around edge of panel. Comments welcome. Starting price should be very reasonable....$24.00 (estimated value, around $200.+) It's listed on eBay, search: 380006137737 Auction ends Wednesday, Mar-19-08 16:47:27 PDT With hopes to buy some parts for my "build project." - Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1931-Dodg...sspagenameZWDVW
5. I guess if we all waste their time, they have less time to scam others. Good work Jay.
6. I'm going to be selling some parts, but first I need to identify them so the people that need them will find them. Make or years? A. Instrument panel, recognize the design along edge? (possible 1930 Dodge?) Images I have seen of Dodge look a little different at corners...more input? Do those markings look familiar? B. Clock, just four numbers, say Feb 52 on side. C. Dodge Hubcaps, 9" across - 1938..0r? D. Instrument panel, car truck or tractor? E. Clock, trim seems to fit contour of dash. F. Hupcaps, I guess American Motors, 14" car, motorhome..? AMC? (these may be identified as 74-79 Hornet/Comet) Thanks! Bottom image - Headlamp..perhaps a Dodge? The headlight support says: S 8 D8753 Reflector says Flatlite The American Flatlite Co. Any guesses..or sure thing. Thanks for input so far...still ?? above.
7. I'm looking for a steering wheel shaft reducer that has a keyway on outside and inside. See small part next to steering wheel in attached image. Small tube. Needs to fit inside steering wheel spider, 1&1/16" hole, 3/16 wide key way. Pretty sure this is what I need to build column and use thinner steering shaft. Here's what i'm doing: http://www.marindirect.com/column/
8. Steering Column & or Shaft (Brass Era) Help needed. Service? Parts? I'm looking for a early brass steering set-up... (about 1910 era) or possible contacts, advice or shop to build up a steering column (or just shaft) for a 1910 era car. See link below with images. It's for a custom project car I have been working on for the past 7 years. It will have 16 3/4" to 17" wood wheel, brass spider and 1 1/2" brass column. If I use the spider that I have, it will need a 1 1/16" diameter shaft, (where it fits spider) and needs to be at least 40" long. The bottom of shaft detail will not matter (if I locate a used part) as it will connect to a U-joint. Top will need to fit to spider, thread for nut, keyway, etc. Was there a common brass washer that went under nut to cover keyway and larger hole? Guess I could make one...unless available. I have more detailed information & photos on a web site I put together yesterday. http://www.marindirect.com/column/ AACA member for 35 years! (guess I should have bought the lifetime membership). Thanks! Email: fairfaxca(add.at.here)yahoo.com

Guess I could make one...unless available would be much easier. I also may need someone that could machine a 2"x2" OSD 1/4" thick brass "cup" for top of column tube.
