  1. Mitch, Theres a guy parting a 66 Skylark vert on V8Buick.com. I believe the quarters are still there. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?281258-1966-Skylark-convertible-in-a-yard-who-needs-what&p=2326939&highlight=#post2326939 Todd
  2. Still no luck finding a useable quarter panel. Please continue to keep me in mind if you come across one. Thanks, Todd
  3. My quarter panel problem isn't due to rust and rot. The car was purchased and driven by my grandmother. She obviouly could not handle the power and had a fender bender or two. The front cap on the car was changed many years ago by my brother when he had the car. But the damaged right rear quarter was never repaired. So I seek a useable one. If I have to bite the bullet and purchase a NOS quarter then I guess that's what I will have to do. So for now I will keep looking. Thanks everyone.
  4. I have been told by several different sources that a 67 Skylark rear quarter panel is the same as the 66 quarter. Can anyone confirm this??? Also to what extent will a 66 4door rear quarter panel work on a 2door hardtop model. I was thinking I could use the rear end section up to the center of the wheel well. Any thoughts??
  5. I am looking for a 66 Skylark, Special or GS right rear(passanger side) quarter panel to replace the one on my car. If you know of one please let me know. Thanks
  6. Still searching for a useable 40l motor if anyone has one available. Thanks
  7. I am in need of a 401 motor. I am looking for one I can use for parts/reference when I start rebuilding mine. I acquired the car and engine completely in pieces and would like to have an engine on the side to use for parts/reference. It doesn't have to be a running engine. If someone has one with a hole in the block that would even be better.
  8. The local 401 motor didn't pan out so I am still looking for a 401 motor for parts/reference when I start putting mine back together. If you know of one that may work please let me know. It does not have to be rebuildible. It can have rods sticking out the side of the block for all I care. I would prefer a 66 or close to 66 perferably. Does anyone know if the 425 is the same?? Maybe I could use a 425 if they are simular. Thanks
  9. Thanks Holly, I'll keep that one in mind. I gotten a tip on one here local I'm going to try to run down.
