I have a final edition 88 reatta/riviera service manual for sale. Great condition, worn cover $40. was wondering if I should try and sell it here or on Ebay. Haven't done this kind of transaction before. Thanks for any help!

FYI Just came across a '90 reatta for sale . by the price tag ($49,000), and silver colour I'm assuming it's a select 60. It's in Chilliwack, BC Canada (about 2 hours east of Vancouver). I accessed it on the web by www.canadatrader.com then typed in under search "reatta" in BC. I've also heard of another convert for sale near this dealer, apparently he wants $30,000 for the white convertible. I'm selling my '88 for $6,900 Canadian. burgandy in and out 88,000 miles. Great condition.

finally got to sell my baby. I need more than 2 seats. '88 burgandy in and out, 88,000 miles. runs perfect. Paint in good cond. no rust, small scratches, interior near perfect, original mats never used. everything works, except Air cond. works on/off. No accidents. will need new tires soon. Car is on west coast, near Vancouver in BC Canada. Asking $7,900 Canadian, I think it converts to about $6,300 US$. (Also, just a note, there is another Reatta for sale in this area, don't know year, but only has 4,000 miles on it, white convert. asking $38,000 Can.$. Been for sale for years at a dealership.) thanks for any interest in my baby. She needs a good home. I have not advertised this yet, wanted to give you guys first chance. Further questions, please email me at dustyjil@hotmail.com .

"engine controls computer detects electrical problem"
Dusty replied to Dusty's topic in Buick Reatta
Thanks for the info. I cleared all the codes and it seems to work fine now - no display. Let's hope it stays that way ! -
"engine controls computer detects electrical problem"
Dusty replied to Dusty's topic in Buick Reatta
yes, it happens every time I start engine, but car runs perfectly normal. if problem is with cam magnet, what would the effect be? I'm hoping it's something minor as it hasn't seemed to affect how the car runs. -
This statement is flashed on my '88 display screen. (I have tried the search function of this site, but I can't get in.) I am wondering if it's ok to drive for a few days, before getting it checked out. Or if there is something simple I can do to check it. I'm thinking of selling this car soon, so didn't want to put too much $ into it, unless I have to. I know electrical problems aren't too easy to deal with. Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated ! [color:\\"blue\\"]

Hi, a friend of mine from Cananda was visiting San Diego and spotted a nice blue Reatta at the Bahia Resort Hotel Jan. 24/04 . She took a picture of it. Just wondering if the owner was on this discussion group.

We don't get much snow, but when we do, I have no worries driving my baby in the snow, she just plows through, I even pass people going uphill on a winding hill! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I live in a small town on the West Coast of Canada and believe it or not I have seen about 4 Reatta's here, one was even the same burgandy as mine. I pulled him over and we had a quick chat. Kinda fun. I used to own a '64 'Vette <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> and those owners would smile and wave too.

Just wanted you to know the same thing has been happening to my '88 for years, I have replaced everything except the servo. Three different shops have been scratching their heads over this one as the cruise control works fine other than this. The code comes up even when the cruise buttons are all off. Can't remember which code comes up on screen - as my Reatta is at my mum's house for the winter.

I have a '88 burgandy (in and out)with 83,000 miles. Excellent shape - except for a small tear in vinyl on driver's side. Might have to sell it in future as I am a single parent and my son is into mountain biking and snowboarding and neither of these fit in the trunk. (Although my 'cuda has a large trunk!) <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I am so happy to hear you survived that crash. Please know that you are in my prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. Yesterday a friend of mine was killed in a tragic accident, he leaves behind a 12 year old girl and 5 month old son. Let's all be grateful of what we have and ensure our families know that they are loved. God Bless. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yes indeed, this does seem to be the week for bulb replacement, I just replaced the headlight last night , now onto the parking lights, thanks for the advice, I didn't want to tackle the job last night, but now I will stock up on bulbs and replace the whole lot while I'm at it !

how did you time your pass? Also, running into the wind can make huge differences, as wind is not constant this can really fluctuate your times.

Wow, loved reading the first post by Eric. Makes me look a little differently at my car. We do take terminally ill kids for a ride in the race cars, not full speed of course, but man does it make them smile !

What was the price of this hiflow cat?

Do you know if you can also use that product on steering column? I know it is made out of steel, but wanted to kill two birds with one stone.

I don't know about adopting, but I need a new guy for my pit crew !

Yup, still have the 'cuda and enjoy racing with my 440 ! Also took the Reatta down the strip for fun ( not quite as fast as the 'cuda though !)

[color:\\"pink\\"] Ok, guys, here's one for you. When I divorced my husband I had my lawyer include this in the division of assets - Husband: all furniture, china and 1/2 chrystal. Wife: '88 Reatta, '67 Camaro, all car parts and tools. ( See, girls just wanna have fun too ! )
