  1. I am looking for a short console for a bucket seat set-up for a 69 GS. It has shift on the column. I need one like the one pictured. I would like a good one, black in color. Email price, info and photos of what you have to: JSimonson@TDS.net Your help is greatly appreciated... Thanks again, John
  2. to the top.....my quest is still active.
  3. TTT - still for sale. Nice car, should make someone a great stocking stuffer! What an original timepiece!

  6. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">unfortunate that green is not to your liking, as that was the most popular color for that time frame. especially with the "older" buick jetset, and are usually found in the nicest shape.. if you change your mind... I have one mid way your price range that you likley will never find better representation of. there was a time that I too detested green <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> given the chance, it can grow on you.....especially lime mist. now I have 3 of them ! happy holidays, john </div></div> You can certainly ship me a photo and info about your green one, what color is the interior, and rust,...etc?? I guess I have a problem with a green interior......mainly... John JSimonson@TDS.net
  7. Hi Brian, yeah I was born with the tri shield logo on my forehead!! I wish I could talk my dad out of his 64 Wildcat, it's a 2 door hdtp with 39K miles on it! Even the tires are original. Obviously, he never drives it. The ONLY thing that would pull me away from the Buick ranch would be if a friend of mine would sell his 78 Camaro Rally Sport. You know, the cars with the tu-tone paint job? His is all original with 29K miles on it! I love that car. I look forward to finding the right Skylark, I hate to be without a Buick too long! But with the GS gone, I can help my daughter with college. The important things you know! John
  8. Still looking.......thanks. John
  9. Now that I sold the GS, I would like to "downsize" and get a super nice Skylark 2dr hdtp.....I would like to have buckets and console with automatic, but not necessary, just as long as there is no rust, and the interior and engine compartment are nice. $5-$10,000.00 range. No green ones. Any nice Bamboo cream Skylarks out there? Thanks, John JSimonson@TDS.net

  14. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Unless you're going to lose the house don't sell it short. It's a beautiful car and your price is more than fair. IMHO. Set a high reserve/buy it now. Good luck. </div></div> Would you have the reserve price and "Buy it Now" as the same price?? And should that be my asking price? Thanks for the help. John
  15. Unless something changes, It will go on ebay this weekend. John
  16. My co-worker is selling his 72 Centurian 2 dr hdtp. It is in fair condition, with some rust, but all in all it would make a pretty easy restoration. The 455 engine and transmission have been recently overhauled and run like new. The trip odometer was reset to zero when it was put on the road and thus the new overhaul has 568 miles on it. The mileage on the car is actual at 52,804. It has a posi rear end, cruise, air, and tilt. It also has new air shocks on the rear, and dual exhaust. He is asking $2500.00 or make an offer. The car is located in Neillsville Wisconsin. Call 715-223-6350 eves or 715-743-3207 days and ask for Ralph. His cell # is 715-613-9622.

Thats what I did to Derek and GSJohn. I am friendly and wont bite. A meeting or get together is a fine idea along with our names on our tags(in my case they are the same, so I have that problem solved). Figure out a time on Thursday or Friday and lets do it. With our Yahoo groups in 2003 we met a restaurant in Flint and that worked out well too. </div></div> It's a great idea!!! Yep, Bill came up and introduced himself, and I have never been the same since!! LOL LOL, just picking on you Bill! I would like to make it to the event, I guess we will have to see. It's friendship that lasts forever! How ya been Bill? John
