  1. More info on the 73 LeSabre. I went to look at it last night and it is just like new! 18,165 original miles on the odometer! The interior is black and still smells like new! The tires are original, the trunk is like new, the engine glimmers! No rust! What more can I say!? Other than new tires, a new battery and some fresh gas,.....get in it and drive! Let me know if you want contact info. $3000.00 What a find! Thanks, John
  2. Hi, I am wondering if anyone has an NOS or exceptionally clean used spoiler and brackets/bolts for a 1987 Olds Cutlass Salon. If so, please call me days at 715-743-8518 or email: ruddracing28@hotmail.com If possible, email photos and price to me at that address. Thanks for your time. John
  3. Hi,...... is there anyone that would be interested in a 1973 Buick LeSabre Custom? Our neighbor lady is selling her brothers. He bought it new. It is a 4 door hardtop and has 19,000 original miles. Needs a new battery and fresh gas, and maybe some tires, other than that, get in and go! She is asking $4000.00 for the car. I am going to look at it tomorrow and can get some pictures then if needed. Is it worth 4 grand? No rust on the car, maybe some scaling underneath. But all in all I think it's pretty solid. Your thoughts?? John call me days at 715-743-8518 or email: ruddracing28@hotmail.com Thanks again!

  8. Anyone know what the value is of a 1973 Buick LeSabre 4 door hardtop? It is very nice with only 19,000 miles. No rust, some scale on the undercarriage. Original Medium Blue paint is faded and could stand a redo. The interior is near perfect, black in color. I don't have any photos at this time. An estate is going to be selling it and asked me for my assistance. Thanks in advance. John
  9. Manual is sold. Thanks guys. John
  10. I have a Buick parts manual for 1982-1986 Buicks. Covers everything including the Century, Electra, Estate Wagon, LeSabre, Regal, Riviera, Skyhawk, Skylark and Somerset. Covers everything from electrical to carpet, transmissions to air conditiong to the instrument cluster, I mean everything. The front and back covers are missing so I put it all in a 3 ring binder. It's in really good shape for it's age. Asking $25.00 plus shipping. email me at: ruddracing28@hotmail.com or PM me for more info. More photos available upon request. Thanks! John

  13. Thanks Mark, Was that front and rear, or just the front? Do you have a contact number for ESPO Springs? Thanks again, John
  14. Hi Dan,....yeah I have heard that too. A couple guys around here replaced the front coil springs on their 65 Impala and when they got done, the front end was 4 inches higher than it should be!! Needless to say, they were not pleased. I don't want that to happen with the Cat. I think I may end up replacing the shocks front and rear, and just put a couple spacers in to start with. Thought about installing air shocks for the rear, but don't want to take away from the originality of the car. How are things in the Mini-apple area?? Thanks for your input. John
  15. My Dad's old 64 Wildcat has 41,000 miles on it and the front end is starting to sag a bit. Question,......do we replace the front springs or just install spring spacers to boost the front a bit. We are going to replace the shocks regardless. Any thoughts on this? The car is all original, even the air in the tires is partly from 64!! Photo of the car is attached. Thanks! John
  16. LOL Family Loan Value,.....too funny! Thanks!!
  17. Guys, Thanks for the kind words, but I am just a guy and I am sure you would do the same thing if needed. I always put others before myself, I guess that's just the way I am. Thank you again for the help and always remember, it pays to "pay it forward" Thanks again. John
  18. A big Thank you, to those of you helping me out with this. Here is the story, my brother has an 86 IROC that is essentially new, with 9800 miles. He is the second owner and has fallen on hard times. He lost his job and can't land another one, has a mortage with 3 kids. He asked me if I wanted to buy it. Knowing that I have been pretty lucky in my life, I said I would. He told me to figure out what it's worth and we can come together on a price. Me being a Buick guy, I don't know it's value. What I am going to do, (he doesn't know this) is figure a value of about $15k, then I am going to add 15% to that and buy the car for $17,250. That will give him a little extra to go on. I told him though, as a condition of my purchase, he can buy it back when he gets back on his feet, less the 15% of course. Aside from his wife and kids, that car is his life and I am glad I can help him out and keep it in the family. Again, Thank you guys and have a good day.
  19. What are you asking for the Olds??
  20. Hi, I was wondering if anyone would know the value of a 1986 Chev Camaro IROC? It has 10,000 miles and is like new. Thanks, John
  21. Hi Guys, I am looking for a 68-72 Skylark Custom. I would like one that is in excellent original or restored original condition. I would like bucket seats, but a bench with armrest is OK. I would like it to NOT have the bodyside "spear" molding or trim and no fender skirts on a 68-69. I know, I know,........I am kinda picky! Not too picky on exterior color, just not white,..... and no green or blue interiors. Ha! Again, must be in very nice condition with no rust. Thanks again for your help. PM or email any leads to me. John ruddracing28@hotmail.com
  22. Another PM sent,...... that makes 3! Sorry!! LOL! John
