  1. Personally,....I like the "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" By jove,....I think we've got it!
  2. I would also consider a trade for a set of 15" Buick rims. Here is another photo. John
  3. Gary,.....it just so happens that I have 4 of those wheels in my basement. I just finished restoring them. I would probably sell them, but I would only sell them in a set of 4. Enclosed is a photo of them, if you need more, let me know. They do have 991 stamped on the rim. John
  4. Good Morning Steve, If you go to www.autocolorlibrary.com you can clink on domestic and then Buick, you can look at any color and any year you want. You can't buy any paint chips at that site, but it is a good reference. Good Luck. John
  5. Interested in a partial trade, or no? Thanks, John
  6. Another photo of the rims. This is one of the four. John
  7. Where might you be located? Would you consider 4 14X6 road wheels that have been restored, in partial trade? I have attached a photo of the rims. John
  8. For sport,.....here is a picture of his Wildcat! Enjoy all!
  9. Hey Pontchief, I spoke with my parents this afternoon and they tell me they are not ready to sell the deuce and a quarter yet. They still have some things they want to do with it. It sure is a nice one. I have been trying to talk my Dad out of hie 64 Wildcat. It has 39,000 act miles,....but he won't sell that yet either! Sorry, but good luck in your hunt. I have enclosed a photo of the front of Dad's car,....(the dang thing is sooooo long I couldn't get it in the shot completely!)
  10. My Dad might be willing to sell his 63 Elecrta 225 convert. It is originally a California car. Yellow wtih buckskin leather and white top. It has one repaint but other than that, all original. The amount of mileage escapes me, but it doesn't have many. He has been talking about it, I will ask him and get back to you. John P.S. we are located in Wisconsin USA. You can email me at ruddracing28@hotmail.com I check it often.
  11. No reason at all,......I use this site often, but varity is the spice of life, and there is only so many times you can come back to this or any one site in any given period of time......ya know what I mean???? If the tables were turned, I'd be asking the same question of this site. That is all for now,........Tank ya den!
  12. I was thinking it was just me as well......did I forget to pay something? I thought!! No it must be something with their server or whatever. Kind of a bummer when it's down, I don't know what to do with myself! I am trying to look busy, but I think my wife see right through that as she has alway got something more for me to do! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!! Someone get that site back on line! PLEASE!
  13. Thanks for your help Brian, I surley appreciate it. John
  14. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">This may fall under an emissions control item and the warranty (if I'm not mistaken) goes beyond the standard 3yr 36k. Check the owner's manual first to see what the warranty is for emissions devices and see what's covered with regard to this ext warranty. </div></div> The emissions warranty does go beyond the 3yr/36k mile standard warranty, but the only items covered under the emissions warranty is the catalytic converter and the PCM. Gas cap is not covered beyond the 3/36, Sorry. Yes a loose gas cap may trigger the CEL to come on, but something as slight as water in the fuel may trigger a missfire in the engine and thus set off the CEL. There are many items that may set that off. Usually it will not leave you stranded, but if the light starts to flash, or the engine starts to run rough, I'd take it to your Buick dealer and let them run a scan on it to see what is going on.
  15. Bob, Thanks, you have been most helpful. Do you or anyone know what the difference is in diameters of the 64-66 Skylark steering wheels vs the 64-66 full size Buick (Le Sabres etc) steering wheels is? Thanks again.
  16. Thanks Bob, I really appreciate your help. I am looking to buy a good used steering wheel, or someone that restores them. If you have any other part #'s for this year(s) steering wheels, that would be appreciated as well. Thanks again, John
  17. Hello, I am wondering if a full size steering wheel for 65 LeSabre, fit a 65 Skylark?????? Any help there? I am also wondering if anyone has a part number for a steering wheel for a 65 Skylark. I believe they fit 64-66, but not positive. I am looking for a black one, and if someone has the part # it would be of great help. Thanks, John
  18. Hello there, I am wondering if a steering wheel from a larger mid-sixties Buick, i.e. Le Sabre, Wildcat etc, fit a 1964 or 65 Skylark? How about a Sport wheel from a 70-72 GS? Would one of those fit a 64-65 Skylark? Thanks for your time. John
  19. Randy, did you want the ornament or not? If you could at least let me know one way or the other. I was able to help a member find a set of NOS center caps for the rims on his 88 Le Sabre. I think I made his day! Let me know if I can help you. John
  20. Randy, I was able to find a price list for the hood ornament. They sell for $63.00 retail, so if you want an NOS ornament, you can have mine for $40.00 plus shipping. Let me know. Thanks, John
  21. Victor, I do have 4 NOS center caps for your 88 Park Ave car. Did you want them then? you can call me at 715-743-2253 from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm central time today, or e mail me at ruddracing28@hotmail.com Thanks for your time. John
  22. Hello again Victor, and Happy New Year! I want to see if I have them, then we can talk price. I'll get back to you Monday. Thanks, John
  23. Randy, I have a hood ornamenr for your car! It is NOS in the box. It does not however have the nut for the base, but if you need one, I could probably find one around here. I tried to look up the price on the computer at work, but being it is discontinued, the price is unavailable. I know the Regal ornaments are selling for $49.91 and the Park Avenue ornaments are going for an outlandish $84.60 retail. How does $40.00 plus shipping grab you? Let me know what you think. You can email me at: JSimonson@TDS.net or call me at 715-743-2253. I will be in and out this evening, leave a message if I am not here. Thanks Randy, Have a good evening, John
