  1. I found these three items together in a mailing tube. Given who I might have got them from and the hood ornament I'm guessing they are for 1981-83 Riv because that is what my friend owned. I'm mainly interested in knowing what the 18 inch long stainless pieces are and what they fit. Thanks!
  2. Thanks! Just saw June 21 in the June E-Bugle.
  3. I know it's only May but just wondering when the Sheraton will start to take reservations for 2022.
  4. I thought this was pretty unusual as far as Buick memorabilia goes. I bought this roll of gummed shipping tape on ebay in the last 6 months. I'd never seen anything like this before. I took a chance buying it because the seller said he didn't think it would unroll. He was right. It apparently had become wet a number of times and despite it's appearance it will not unroll. I cut through about 4 layers to see if I could get past the supposed wet part but no dice. It's stuck together and only good for a paperweight or collectible. I still like it.
  5. Wanted - 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham two-door front left power window switch for driver's door. No power door locks. Panel on driver's door has a round hole at the top for the remote mirror, left front and right front switch set below that and single window lock switch at the bottom. Just need the two (think they are one set) switches for the PW window. Preferably NOS. Part 3747168. Thank you.
  6. Scott, This car was sold in Sep 2019 through the Bugle. Sorry.
  7. Indoor swap meet, BCA 2019, Oklahoma. Always friendly, in good spirits and ready to chat.
  8. Has to leave a voicemail for Lindsey at the Holiday Inn Strongsville. 440-238-8800, Sales after hitting zero to begin with. Hope she calls me back.
  9. I just called the Holiday Inn Strongsville direct. Hit zero, was on hold 5.5 minutes. Spoke to a man at the Front Desk. After inquiring about when I could make a reservation for the Buick Club of America meet taking place next year, giving him the dates, he stated the Buick Club would have to speak to their Sales Dept at the Hotel to get that rolling. HUH? Do we have someone on the National Meet Committee that can look into this and straighten them out and help our members to get this started? I'm sure there are a LOT of members waiting to make reservations. Thanks!
  10. Bill, read your post but forgot to reply. Now read it again. I have a VCR tape that I converted to DVD a few years ago that my good friend Richard Sandberg took. It's not very good quality as the tape deteriorated all these years. He took video of the swap meet as he walked along, multiple videos of the cars going around the track and quite a bit of the cars as he was walking in the show area. He also briefly interviewed some BCA members standing near their cars in the show area. I don't know what you're looking for but I'd be glad to review my DVD and look for you. Richard wasn't any kind of official photographer at the meet. He merely was filming for himself and provided me and possibly others with a VCR copy at the time. If I see what you're looking for in the DVD I'd be glad to provide a copy to you.
  11. Thanks. I will ask him and let you know.
  12. A friend has a number of nice old horn buttons he's collected. Some are marked on back and some are not. We've been trying to figure out what series and model of Oldsmobile this one goes to. Let me know if you know for sure. I've done a LOT of ebay and google searching and have not found one exactly like this so that's been done. Thanks much! Steve
  13. I wanted to Thank George Holt #49382 for his excellent 7-page article about the Nicola Bulgari Center For American Automotive Heritage in Rome, Italy. It gave those of us who were at the 2016 Allentown BCA meet a more complete picture of the Bulgari collection. I certainly enjoyed Allentown immensely and this article was definitely the icing on the cake! Thank you!
  14. Dang Pete. I wish I'd read this before you bought the one from Summit. I have a box of these, different types, glass bowls, etc. including one AC unit I've had since I owned my Sedanet, now gone. Oh well. I would have sold it to you for next to nothing, postage and a few bucks. Next time!
  15. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado back-up light lens gaskets. Does anyone make reproductions? I looked at Fusick's site and only saw the lenses, not the gaskets. Appreciate any help. Thanks!
  16. I made a reservation by phone on July 3rd this year. I called ITG, International Hotels Group on July 8. They are apparently the owners of the Strongsville location. The called Holiday Inn Strongsville and spoke to management while I was on hold. When they returned to the phone they stated because it was more than one year before the first day of my reservation their system was unable to email me a confirmation. I called the hotel directly and spoke to Frank at the front desk on July 30 asking for him to email me a reservation. He stated he would. I repeated my email address to Frank to ensure he had it correct. He stated it would be four hours for their system to email me. I checked my email and spam folder multiple times. No email. I waited 28 hours before the next call today, 7-31 and spoke to Frank again. He assured me the email was sent. He said he would use his own company email address to send the confirmation to me directly. I again repeated my email address character by character to make sure he understood it. It is now 625P 7-31. No confirmation received. Has anyone else had this problem with the hotel and how did they solve it? Tomorrow I will call and speak to a manager unless someone on this forum knows the name of our primary contact at this hotel. I'm not comfortable having only a confirmation number. I require more proof of my reservation then one number. Thanks in advance for any reasonable and intelligent suggestions. What me worry? YES, that's me. I have to be sure! Thanks!
