Wiilis, Rust Mort turns the rust into Iron phosphate and does not coat it like POR 15 does. Plus if you get it on your hands, it actually comes off 🙂

Happy Presidents Day…. It was a interior day. Scraping tar and glue off the floor. Then a couple of coats of Rust Mort before putting the Lizard Skin down.

I got tired of having hot air come in and couldn’t find anything that fit my 47 super. A piece of sheet metal, some pop rivets and some sealing junk solved the issues. -
It was changed because we are lowering the car 2 inches and the original did not work properly. The rear end was not centered sitting on the ground.

I used 3/16 on my wagon. have you looked at Rubber the Right way? -
The Left handed 11/16th inch tap came yesterday. We were able to finish the Panhard bar. Rear end is almost done and I am hoping to put it on the ground soon.

For something different.... A little candy on the hood and we will have a low rider....

BTW, look at the difference in the springs eaton sent me. They are correct just not as long as he originals. Granted there is a 2 " drop but this is like 4 inches of difference.

I finally took th opportunity to go to Austin this past weekend. Got to see what Rob was doing. New Springs are and shocks have been installed on the rear end. We used Eaton springs and Viking Adjustable shocks like we did in the front. it was put together but with the 2 inch drop the pan hard bar was incorrect. Rob figured out how to make an adjustable one and got one part built. A piece of 1 " tubing with 1/4 " wall, drilled and tapped for 4 wheel drive "Johnny Joints". They are similar to Heim Joints but they have a poly bushing in them. It would have been easier to do in a lathe but it was successful in a drill press and vice. One side is done, we have ordered a 11/16" LEFT handed thread tap for the other side.

I am trying a new balancer on my rebuilt engine. https://www.nailheadbuick.com/dampners-balancers-and-pulleys -
It is aftermarket.... works well too.

I have never seen an adapter for a Dynaflow. Most folks want to put something else (700 R4 as an example) behind the Nailheads. having said that, if the engine is seized, pull it out and rebuild it. You will have more issues trying swap an engine that didn’t belong. motor mounts, wiring, fuel etc. it’s going to be a pain in the butt unless you do engine swaps for a living.

@EmTeeActually, the bead chain is hanging from the throttle assembly. It is for the cruise control that is installed. Has nothing to do with the Dynaflow.

That is similar to the MC's that I have bled before. The tank was pretty easy to use. I used the rectangular plate on my Master Cyl. I read all the negative input about the chains so I decided to try something different. I had two bar clamps that I used instead (squeeze trigger type). Much easier than dealing with that flimsy chain and it was quick. I held 15 psi no problem. -
Its to to turn the shift light on like you see in drag race cars 🙂 Seriously, I cant answer that question at the moment. I will take a look this weekend while I am at the car and let you know.

Don. As PVFJR says, it works well. I have used it on my old cars and not had an issue. Beats the heck out of the pump and hold method. -
I am sure trying Ben. I grew up in that area and it will be good to go back and see what it is like.

It was a Fuel & Brake Line weekend. Got the fuel lines all attached to the frame and ran all the Brake lines. Not a lot of fun but now all we need to do is bleed the brakes and the car will stop. Plus that section will be done. Most of the lines came pre bent from Inline Tube. They fit well. We had to make the master cyliner lines as we went with a dual pot master Cylinder.

And I forgot, we got pre bent stainless tubing from Inline tube for all the brake lines.
