  1. Gary, the casting numbers are this. 157457 is 29 and 30, 171031 are 31 and 173801 are 32. I don't have a 33 around to check. If you don't buy it let me know.
  2. I'll check the casing numbers when in the shop today. 10 26 31 late production could be a 32 motor with the welded on counterweights. Good and rare motor.
  3. Gary, go to the ASC review volume 39 number 2, page 32 for details on casting dates. The k is 31 but the motor in the photo has a 28 manifold. The engine serial number is stamped on a ledge at the front of the block. the same surface that the head bolts to.
  4. Try this guy. http://then-now-auto.com/fuel-pumps/
  5. I have one. studebakerclassics.com
  6. Just went through my 35 photos and your are correct. My president came with one 34 wheel up front and the others were 35. It is now corrected. So that means that somewhere in my very disorganized building there is the wheel you are looking for. I'll let you know if I locate it.
  7. Wanted 1934 or 35 fender skirts for a commander or president. Dictator might be the same also. If you have any for sale or know of a lead please contact me. Thanks. Also still looking for a light switch knob. Rex@studebakerclassics.com
  8. Looking for a 35 light switch knob. Its for a president but I think all 35 models use the same knob. It has a L in the center and has a wire sticking out about 2 inches long. The chrome platter destroyed mine. studerex@aol.com
  9. Looks very close to a 35 studebaker president.
  10. Yes it evaporates and changes color too. There are many things that can go wrong, but you could start by just adding fluid. The ID of that line is very very small. anything could plug or damage it. And the tank sending unit is made of copper/brass and cracks. And be careful of the dash gauge. It is pot metal and will break easily. Luckily the gauge, line and fluid are available.
  11. Dick is Studeq on this forum. He helped find cars for Eyes On Designs before.
  12. #2 are studebaker convertible top front trim. 3 pairs. 47 to 52. Good items for someone trying to make the car correct. Most are missing them.
  13. What year exactly are you looking for. 29 and 30 are the same but all the other years are different.
  14. Goran, when looking at Dicks factory photo, don't be mislead. Open cars had the dash painted body color and closed cars were wood grained with two different patterns.
  15. Dick, I think Goran is refering to the oval plate surrounding the gauges. The dash is painted body color but the oval plate has more detail. Do you have a factory photo to help Goran?
  16. If it had a nut on it, it is probably an adjustment. Post a photo.
  17. I don't need one right now, but I appreciate you making this. I've cut up many castings just to get the lock cylinder out for other cars.
  18. I have used generators, but do not know condition. They should be ok. Removed from parted out cars. email me if that will do. rex@studebakerclassics.com
  19. I got the print years ago to have it reproduced. The fellow that makes the 31 mat was going to make them for me. Never happened. I'll be starting back on the 29 soon and will try to have it made again. Of course you can order the print from the museum and have made also.
  20. Looks very similar to a 35. Just did mine. Only the mounting bracket looks different.
