  3. Not Mine. Craigslist ad. https://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/d/fowler-1959-cadillac-coupe-door/7475106812.html Ad says this car is in "Fair condition." 4. Not Mine. Craigslist ad. https://monterey.craigslist.org/cto/d/greenfield-1966-lincoln-continental/7474314142.html 1966 lincoln continental condition: fair cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: fwd fuel: gas odometer: 61047 paint color: custom size: full-size title status: clean transmission: automatic type: convertible 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Has nearly all options: Rare power bucket seats with console, temperature Control AC. power vents, tilt wheel, speed control, remote mirror, factory AM radio w/tape player. In addition it has an elaborate after market detachable rear windshield that is not presently on the car see photo. Royal Maroon with an off white interior and top. Acquired in the 1970's by its collector current owner and always stored inside. The odometer reads 61,047 may have rolled over. The owner is elderly so the car has not been driven in sometime but does start but we think it needs an alternator. The top is down and the seller will not attempt to operate the top system. We are sure it will need to be made operable. It is a fair paint job in the original color. The body is straight and we find no signs of rust.. It has a clean title. Here's an opportunity to own a unique, fun vintage three wheel drive convertible. Asking $12,000 or best offer. Not Mine. 6. Here are the pictures of the Model A Blind Back sedan to preserve the topic of this discussion: Sellers ad: 1929 Ford Model A Sedan Now up for sale is what we believe to be a ‘29 Model A Town Sedan or something similar. I do not have a title but believe this to be a one or two owner vehicle. Needs work to restore but too nice to chop up. Thanks for checking it out.
  7. For those interested this Model T is located in Kent, Washington.
  8. This former Buick sedan is more proof that only professionally trained automobile designers should design cars.
  9. Considering the reasonable asking price I would not be surprised if this unique Studebaker does not end up with crate motor and automatic transmission before the summers over.
  10. To preserve this information when the eBay listing runs out: 1975 Dodge Ram 3500 Miniature Peterbilt 359 379 389 Semi Truck ~ Dodge 3500 6V Cummins Turbo Diesel Mini Big Rig Real Metal Body Built Right Runs XLNT A++ This truck was taken off the frame and combined with a Classic Pete to make the perfect small Mini Pete. Titkes as a 1992 Dodge 3500 its actually a Peterbilt Paccar / Kenworth or what have you 359 / 379 body and a Mopar into one mean machine!! Its all metal and real Paccar and Mopar. This truck is a BLAST to drive and My dad bought it as a toy / 5th truck. He actually drove it on a 4000 mile road trip and enjoyed that. EVERYONE Looks at this truck and wants to talk at the local gas station or sonic... People flag you down on the highway with the Thumbs up etc etc It is a Absolute joy to drive. Although my mom HATE it because she does not like the attention.... If you do NOT like attention then you should look at a 68 Camaro.. LOL 😉
  11. The website has a limited number of pictures, and no written description, for each car offered for sale. Add that to absolutely no seller contact information, no physical location, no phone number. I would not waste my time and money on this seller.
  12. Did you know for sure that your father-in-law paid $10,000 for the Cordoba? It is not unusual for car guys to "fudge" the numbers when a spouse is involved. As a matter of fact, it is very common. I have know old car guys who told their wife they paid more than double what a car is worth so that they then have the difference to put into another hobby expense. Family money laundering the old car way.
  13. Clearly, this is homemade, so how does this fabrication get titled in any state as a 1901 Oldsmobile. What is used to authenticate this homemade car as a 1901 Oldsmobile at the local department of motor vehicles?
  14. I would love to hear what Henry Ford would say if he could see this Model A.
  15. For those who don’t have Facebook here s the ad and photos: Seller's description Vehicle has been sitting 50 years until now looking to sell an original untouched 1916 Model T tour
  16. Everyone has their "Sacred Cow" be it specific year, make and model of car, political point of view, or any number of other topics. For some this previously restored/original 1949 Cadillac is not on their list of cars they would consider important enough to be worth caring about or saving. To to others, it is important enough to have an opinion and express that opinion. I would love to see the reaction of those who have dismissed the opinions of others, regarding the modification of this 1949 Cadillac, when it is their "Sacred Cow" that falls to the cutting torch. What would their reaction be when it is a 1929-33 Duesenberg Murphy body roadster, for example, that someone with enough money wants to make "reliable and drivable" with a modern SBC crate motor and "modern updated" body and interior? Would those who supported the right to take a restored/original 1949 Cadillac, and radically modify it, suddenly have something negative to say about the right to do whatever you want with your car regardless of the outcome? My mind wanders with the possibility of the kind of posts I would see on this forum if the fate of this Cadillac would also happen to a fully restored/original Duesenberg. Considering the amount of money in circulation there are those with the financial resources who could buy a Duesenberg and "do whatever they want with it."
  17. I don't know what is involved in getting this car on the road, however, I am sure the cost far exceeds the purchase price. One area that would concern me is that the division window creates a fixed front seat. How many people could comfortable drive this car? At 6' 2' I don't think I would last very long behind the wheel of car like this from a time period when most people were under 6 foot tall.
  18. A big part of the value is if you have the original dashboard controls that go with the heater core. Without the dashboard controls value is limited.
