  6. West welcome to the model t fun. Model t tours are some of the most fun. Just start looking for thr rear end we call the six rivet, the number of rivets that hold the axle tubes to the center housing. They are out there, used until mid 11 with minor changes. You will not see the straight axles so I would look for either, tapered axles would be more reliable. Mtfca forum is very helpful. See you in viginia beach. Don

  11. 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible Cabriolet just out of 50 plus years of storage, super straight body, no rust in body, complete with fender skirts, top bows and all interior seat springs.   12. On the 55 I am restoring the rear of the leaf spring mounts to a curved bracket that is welded and bolted to frame , on my 57 these brackets are rivited on . I was wondering if someone might have welded them or if this is factory. Also the bracket for the idler arm and and power steering cyl is bolted and welded, Didn't think factory would bolt and weld. I'm doing a concours resto. so want it right. thanks for your help Don
