  1. Great idea. They belong together just as it was intended. We have enough trouble attracting new blood without this bickering. Work it out so we can all grow together on one site for future members to enjoy

  3. 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible Cabriolet just out of 50 plus years of storage, super straight body, no rust in body, complete with fender skirts, top bows and all interior seat springs.   4. On the 55 I am restoring the rear of the leaf spring mounts to a curved bracket that is welded and bolted to frame , on my 57 these brackets are rivited on . I was wondering if someone might have welded them or if this is factory. Also the bracket for the idler arm and and power steering cyl is bolted and welded, Didn't think factory would bolt and weld. I'm doing a concours resto. so want it right. thanks for your help Don

    old bolts

    A good source for very good quality bolts is your local CAT dealer.All of their bolts have cat on the heads.The heads are thicker just like many pre-war bolts.If you remove all head markings you will have a thick head bolt that will look correct for you pre=war car and be very strong,Don
