I see them on Ebay from time to time -If your car is not original you can get the acorn nuts at Ace Hardware - stainless I think . Looks like the going price for original is 3.00 ea. for nut and T-bolt set.

I would say dont mess with the limit switches . After all these years they are brittle and you run the risk of breaking the corners where the bolts go thru when you try and loosen them . There are no new ones and very few used that are good .

Check with the members that advertise in the Review - I have two 425 blocks as an example - there may be some close to you that will have what you are looking for . The only Rivs I have seen with Big Blocks or Chevy engines have been in the junk yard ??? Best not to try and re-invent the wheel - good luck on your venture .

Richard tried your conversion and I also sold him the correct relay - same results with both relays .

Krylon makes a close match - Ford Green - They make two Ford Greens one is way off and the other is close .
