  1. I posted this in the For Sale area as well, but thought it would be worthwhile to post it in front of a group of folks specically interested in Woodies as well, so here it is: This is an unrestored car that has been in the hands of collectors for decades. It is ready to find a new home. More specifics can be found in my original classifieds ad here:
  2. Here is my submission: 1939 Ford Standard Woodie. Never restored, only maintained. It is also for sale.
  3. This is a 1939 Ford Standard Woodie that has not been restored, only stored and maintained. Originally a Standard Oil car, it then spent the rest of its time in the hands of collectors and is in amazing original condition with absolutely perfect patina. This is a rot-free car that is structurally sound and extremely nice. The floors, cowl, etc are all extremely nice and no rust. Wood is all intact and as far as I can tell, completely original except for one cross piece on the driver door and one on the tailgate. The wood is overall in great condition for its age and the doors open and close as they should, etc.Motor fires and purrs as it should, transmission shifts great, the brakes work well and this car drives very nicely. This Woodie appeared on the first episode of Ray Evernham's TV show, "Americarna," at that time owned by NHRA exec and collector, John Siragusa. It was also displayed in the Woodie exhibit at the 2015 Grand National Roadster Show, and caused quite a stir. This really is an incredible Woodie that sort of transcends just being a wonderful example of a rare car due to its original condition, honest patina and a charm that cannot be replicated other than by the hands of time. It is currently ready to find its next caretaker.$70k, location is near Portland, Oregon. You can contact me directly at (503) 348-7134 Jake
