  3. well hello thanks for all the help on doing things before i start this found 1923 the motor was free, water pump free, dist free etc was going along good,,, i added water to red and seen the crack on the drivers sid mid way on the block looks what i fugure it was from leaving the non anti freeze water in some time and it froze causing a elongated crack oh well,,,
  4. i just aquired a 1923 buick 5 window hardtop coupe and need a wood kit for the inner structure...anybody have or make them
  5. ok i just rolled a 1923 buick coupe with the 6 cyl out of the shed after sitting for 40 years motor is free whats everybody think i should do to try to get it running

  7. hello this is larry hackethali have the chalmers page on fb,, i got my chalmers several years ago then started talking to the old guys , and found not many chalmers left did you sell it? what was your dads name i may have spoken with him
  8. the car has sat in a warehouse and was given to me, i have several other old cars and i just enjoy the peace time of working on them i grabbed a 1922 chemlers touring several years ago sitting in a dust covered warehouse as well i just didnt know if there was anybody who made the wood kits to replace the rot in this one
  9. now next question is where to buy a wood kit the metal on the car is good but the inner frame of the body, the wood parts on the top area need to be replaced
  10. ok i raised the hood for the first time and the body tag is still there it says 23-
