  1. Oh alright, thanks for clarifying
  2. Even though this is an old posting, I agree. However, the practice changed few years ago.
  3. Thanks for posting the engine compartment picture. Either your grandfather removed all the undercoat on the inter finders or it was never applied. I agree with others, go for class judging.
  4. The rear windows do not look original to me.
  5. That is a good bumper sticker. I served in the Navy during Nam and spent time in the gulf of Tonkin. I'd like to see those stickers on every Vets vehicles. Then Maybe people would realize how many Veterans have served and are serving to keep this country free.
  6. Pretty sure everyone reading this has run into a nut that can only be screwed 1/12 of a turn at a time. The ones that take all day.
  7. I do heat with wood furnace Outside pumping in the garage eeps garage about 65 on really cold days . Wood is free !Kigs32
  8. Hey Wayne,Usually towed the race trailer at least 70mph,NEVER an issue always used Michelin radials
  9. The second photo shows a photo of a J-D Petticoat type spark plug. It's interesting to note that Champion acquired this company in 1916 so they could obtain the rights to mineral deposits of Siliminite, which produced a superior insulating material. The "Petticoat" type of plug has a deep recess surrounding the center electrode. That provides a greater surface area a spark would need to travel in order to short out. Spark will travel over the shortest distance, and in the case of a "Petticoat" style plug, that distance will be between the center and ground electrode-just where the spark should be.
  10. Great collection, especially like the Fisk Brake Fluid. Thanks for sharing. You could stock a vintage gas station.
  11. wondered if easier maintenance was a factor during those times, the cads valves are awful to adjust and they claim it’s “easy”
