  1. Hello All, this is an old thread, we will see what happens ! Regarding the vacuum tank. Does any know who sells one?
  2. Charles , that’s beautiful, is that original or did you have it redone?
  3. Hello all , In between jobs on this car, Im Polishing my hood emblem, well my wife is , it seems silver not goldish like I’ve seen, is this correct? Thanks all , Everett .
  4. Thank you , I have a better understanding of the system now . And seemingly both sides have shorts. I put a new 10amp fuse in and blew it. I Got two signal clicks off the left ( good side) , then she went. I’ll tone out wiring soon , unplug lamp holders and go from there. All I have is my electrical back Round, which is why I started with that. The Mechanical will come with time. (Both brakes and parking lights share the same bulbs.) thank you for your help, I’ll update you as I trouble shoot. Hopefully it’ll help someone else in the future. Everett
  5. Thank you .bloo , I cleaned the fuse holder and then got clean power to flasher but the fuse blew when I tried to signal, I’m assuming I tryied the right . So I have a short somewhere. originally the left worked but the right did not , I’ll refuse and try the left again with clean contacts and then see if the right side has the short. thank you for replying and confirming that the diagram is correct. Everett
  6. If this also represents the Lincoln, then I have a good start, I figured it was wired this way. can any one confirm ? Thanks all
  7. Hello all , I’m trying to troubleshoot my signal light system . I’ve repaired the signal switch. but I just don’t understand how it’s wired in with the flasher . It worked, then it didn’t and now it still doesn’t . The “boos” wiring diagram and the Lincoln diagram doesn’t really break this system down. ItS prolly simple but I never dealt with this before. Does any one have Experience with troubleshooting this system? Thanks for any help, tips or tricks available . Everett
  8. Hello all , Im working on my radio , and it seems I may need parts or a helping mind . Does any one have Experience in fixing these , or know where I can get replacement parts? I do have a backup radio and the schematic , but I would like some Guidance if at all possible Thank you all, Everett
  9. Hello , What was your outcome with snaking those spark plug wires? Any tips with your Experience? Thanks Everett
  10. I got the Distributor out as well. I think the actual trick is getting it back in and all together lol. Thanks all Everett
  11. I got it !! I jacked the car up and took a stick and banged up Gently on the distributor coil on each corner loosening it up. Seems there’s was some sort of glue holding it or old gasket . It was my last resort. Now for the plug connector “things” lol Thanks , Everett
  12. Hello all, finally jacking the car up. i jacked it up from the rear pumpkin, one wheel was off the ground two inches the other was not off the ground . Placing the jacks Equally away from the pumpkin and lowering car onto them they Equaled out. but with 4 wheels off the ground the Passenger side is equally 1 inch higher than the driver side. Could this indicate a warped frame? The jack stands are at Equal Heights and Equal dimensions away from the pumpkin and front axil set up is the same. Thinking about it Mabey its just bad shock Absorbers or something as simple as that Thanks ! Everett
  13. I tried the scraper And no luck , so I got in the engine compartment for a better angle and pulled up it’s not Budging. I’ll keep trying. But If theres are any more tricks out there I’m all ears or eyes lol Thanks all , Everett
  14. Hello all , I need to remove my coil and Distributor, Simple enough in my mind, until the coil seems stuck and is not Budging, I don’t want to break it ! From what I was told three screws on top to remove the coil . Is there a trick to removing the coil ? Or am I missing something? Thank you , Everett
