  1. Yes, Oakley was quite a guy. I do not know about his automobile collection. I believe he ran for sheriff in the '80's. I did not know of Mr. Dugan. Howard has a man helping him with his Packards...I believe he was Kermit DeBoard. Did you know him? He would also help at the Southern States store Howard owned just off 40.
  2. Looks elegant, especially in front of the Rolls.😉
  3. Actually, the 1913 was Judith's and she drove it across the country by herself in the late 60's...and she cranked herself also. And, as I remember, Howard had a '29 long wheelbase open Packard that was what I would call light blue. That was my favorite in his terrific collection. Do not know what happened to it. Absolutely great people and long time friends of the family.
  4. I would like to include Vincenzo Lancia
  5. Anybody ever watch the original Untouchables with Robert Stack? Plenty of old autos in those episodes.
  6. Looks like it might have been in a parade recently... decoration on the rear bumper.
  7. Like whe Ed was tooling around Boston in a snow storm in his Pierce?😁
  8. If that bracket clock is old, could be worth a good bit. Worth looking into.
  9. On Maryland's Eastern shore we had a bumper sticker for all other visitors: Welcome to the Eastern Shore Now Go Home It didn't work.😁
  10. No cataracts here, just really dangerous glare. At 75, I still have good eyesight and do not need glasses. Those led beams are also unnecessary.....how were we able to see the road for the past 100 or so years, But the problem with flicking your brights nowadays is that the other drive may do harm to you
  11. If you look closely, there are heavy duty ramps underneath the rear of the trailer. A bit rough for loading automobiles, but great for small utility tractors. We have something similar. What would really help in this situation is an electric winch up front.
  12. Not that. Just a too long unshielded strap 3 inches from the hot terminal. Might be all right until it hits a bump. In my experience with electrical work, insulation is your friend.
  13. Will the owner please do something with the ground strap! That is a short waiting to happen. Why do people use braid for the ground terminal? Nice car.
  14. The really unfortunate thing is he'll be released on his own recog, and daddy will make everything just go away. Lesson learned? NOPE!
