  1. Anyone find a heater 6v blower motor that will fit in the heater duct.
  2. Car starts great when warm or cool. There is no ignition circuit connection when hot - I mean nothing- dead. When the engine cools down start instantly. The only thing I can see being really effected by the heat is the accelerator vacuum switch. Not sure how to test it. Is there a way to bypass the accelerator vacuum switch to start the car?
  3. I looking for the housing cover that mounts below the flywheel housing. When bought this 50 Buick I failed to notice the cover was missing. Last thing I need is sludge/dirt getting in the flywheel.
  4. I Put the car up on a lift and found the flywheel cover was missing. I have look everywhere with so far no luck. The cover is for a 49 and 50. The last thing I want to do is try and make my own.
  5. I want to convert the single to dual master cylinder. I cannot find a interchangeable match. Anyone have a suggestion? From my end it looks like I'll need to have a mounting bracket made since the OEM unit is a side mount to the frame. And then find a compatible MC. Any suggestions
  6. I saw a note somewhere that a guy tapped the end of the torque tube ahead of the rear torque ball. It sounded like it made sense. Anyone want to comment on this idea. He actually drilled a hole, tapped it and put in a bolt. I have to replace both the seals at both ends and the idea is to have access to see if trans fluid in getting in the torque tube. I guess if I did it, I would use a 3/8 plug.
  7. HI is there a way to do a 12 volt conversion limiting it to starting and keep the rest of the operating system 6 volt. Instructions I have seen talk about effecting bulbs, heater, etc. I am looking to address jumping with 12 volts and better starting.

  10. The transmission dipstick has a bend 1/4 of the way from the end. Images I have seen do not have that bend. The part number 1339339 is stamped on the stick. I see scrap marks at the bend. Just want to be sure the stick is suppose to be straight before I straighten it.
