i had the same problem with my 1929 Pontiac 6-29. i was not able to find a puller. What i ended up doing, remove the tire, by removing the bolts, slide it off, then using a piece of wood behind (inside frame side) the rim and 2 small bottle jacks Frame ->bottlejack-->Rim. Then adjusting both equally, i was able to get the Wood spoke rim off. turns out my key was pushed all the way in. hope it helps.

Looks Great! my 1929 Pontiac Vin number is on the rear frame cross member.

i have an engine from a 29/30 Pontiac ( what i have been told) , number is 526865-2 (drivers side /bottom side of engine ) .. any advice on what the numbers mean ?
