  1. Auctioning my 1932 Plymouth PB coupe on Bring a Trailer. The auction is live until Wednesday, May 25 at 12:33pm AACA Grand National winner, Preservation Award. Log onto the auction if you have any questions. Thank You
  2. Wow, very nice work. Always happy to provide any other pictures as you move forward with your project.
  3. I saw a few air bubbles in the bowl when running yesterday. I found the fuel line had a small leak where it's attached near the bowl. A little tightening and no more bubbles. Runs great !
  4. What I ended up doing is removing a brass piece on top of the sediment bowl housing. I filled that with gas which drained into the fuel pump. A few sprays of starter fluid and it fired up. Guess I'll be starting it at least every other week so she doesn't go dry. Thanks for all the replies and help.
  5. Close enough, it was 64.46 AKI. I bought my first gallon in the 1970's so I have no clue. ( Honda Mini Trail ) I know that a lot people with access to AVGAS run it in everything unless it has a cat or its fuel injected. Overkill but it doesn't spoil. ( and it smells cool ) Thanks for the input !
  6. What method did you use to prime ? Wonder if I can remove the fuel line near the sediment bowl and push fuel there with a squeeze bottle and a hose ?
  7. Jon, Only because today's fuel has no shelf life when compared to AVGAS. No ethanol in it either. I don't run the car often enough. wasn't the gas in 1932 like 95 leaded ?
  8. Thanks, I'll get a can of starting fluid. Hope the diaphragm in the fuel pump isn't shot. It ran fine at any speed a few months ago. The AVGAS that I run evaporates really quick, that shouldn't have eaten the fuel pump... I don't think. It's just 100LL
  9. I let my car sit too long and I believe the carb has no fuel in it. The glass sediment bowl was about 3/4 full so I topped it off but still no luck getting it to fire. What's the best way to prime ? I think back when my Dad had one we towed it in 3rd gear until it ran. Thanks in advance, Russ
  10. Thanks Terry. I did have parking lights and a tail light but as soon as I moved the light selector the fuse blew. I was trying to get it to the off position but likely turned on the headlights. Guess I'll have to check the headlights first but keep in mind the tail light might also be suspect. With the light selector still in the off position I still have brake, dome and horn. Russ
  11. I have the original manual, gee didn't think of looking there. That's what I believe to be correct, levers face down. Mine might be twisted to face up creating the short. Never believe the gas gauge, just ran out of fuel.. I think I can fix that on my own.... Thanks for all your help Dave.. Russ
  12. Here you go Jeff, let me know if this helps, don't mind taking more if you need them. 1932 PB Rumble seat coupe Russ
  13. Tinkering on a Sunday as we all do. Put a 20A SFE fuse in and selected the light switch to off. Now I have a horn, brake light and dome lamp. Going to keep that switch where it is for now. My headlight switch is facing up, anyone else's like that? The 31 I had it was facing down, wonder if it's in wrong. Russ
  14. I'm very very fortunate to have purchased a car that had a full nut and bolt restoration, so just about all new everything. Of course that doesn't mean there won't be issues. I think I'll spring for the multi-meter Keith recommended. The first 5 am fuse blew but I had lights for a short while... not surprised because it's supposed to have a 20. The 20's blew as well so it's a hunt with the multi meter. I'll let you know how I make out. Here is the link if you want to see this beauty
