  1. I don't. Can you roughly give me the dimensions and weight if you would crate it? I will see if I can get it shipped from your place to Europe. Thanks in advance. Durk
  2. Hello Dave I am interested in your radiator. But since I am from Europe I have to find someone in the USA where I can ship it. Do you happen to have more parts to a 1914 Maxwell? Best regards Durk Miedema
  3. Hello all I have a question regarding the oil level in my 1914 Maxwell model 25. It has no oil pump. Or at least no pressurised oil system. It only uses a small feed pump to pump oil to the camshaft sprocket. The rods and crankshaft have to be lubricated by splashing oil. But how much oil should be in the pan? On the pan are two drain taps. Both are below the plate in the oil pan. You can see those in the pictures. In my opinion oil has to be on top of this plate so the rods can pick it up. There is also no dipstick. And I do not have a manual stating how much oil should go in the pan. Anny words of advice?
  4. Andrew I have one you can have. Only thing is it is a bit broken. The part in red is broken off. If you would like to have it please say so. I can send it to you. Best regards, Durk
  5. Hello Yes the oil pan is galvanized/ zink plated. The pan was covered with grease and junk. So when it came out of the parts washer looking like this I was pleasantly surprised! There are more accessory parts of the engine that seem to be galvanized/ zink plated. Durk
  6. Hello Andrew That is great news. Good luck on getting it all back together. Durk
  7. 1922 was the first year they had extra springs in the front fork. I would say it is between 22 and 24.
  8. Here are some pictures of the manyfold. Also pictures showing the progress on the engine. Durk
  9. Hello Andrew This is looking rather nicely. If I were you I would clean the carbon from the top. Maybe pull the valves for more access. The manifold is almost stock. They just chopped off the bottom piece. I will take a picture of mine. I have so many questions about the body of your car because mine is gone. But I’m not that far into the project just yet. Just one thing. Where does your hood locks? Best regards, Durk
  10. Andrew I removed it from the front. You can use the treat in the camshaft to pull the bushing out. The bushing is locked in place by a bolt on the outside of the engine case. Durk
  11. I took a photo today. On the photo you can see the camshaft and bushings folowed by the thrust washer, the sprocket and the nut.
  12. Hello Howard Is 105 in the second picture a valve guide? I am curious to know because mine certainly needs new guides. I can’t really see if it is a guide or just part of the casting. I am thinking of drilling holes and putting in new guides. Best regards Durk
  13. Hello Thank you for your interest. Progress is slow but the following has been done. All parts have been taken apart. The parts are blasted and currently at the parts cleaner. The play on the camshaft was very little. I did not notice a thrust washer.. Maybe I do need a Parts book. If it is lost I will make a new one. The camshaft does also drive the oil feed pump so play should be limited. If you have more question Andrew please send me a private message. Maybe I can send you more pictures! Best regards Durk
