This forum was very helpful on another project I had, I know not GM, but the Continental page does not have too much activity and when I google this number it comes back as a Pontiac V8 350ci. I am helping with a 1951 mack with a Continental 331 Flat Head 6cyl engine. It has dual ignition. No spark out of either, the truck has been sitting for a 10+ years.
I am looking for the part numbers for the distributor cap, rotor, points, condenser, etc. The number on the side is 1112290 OK14.
Thanks for the help

First time posting here, but after reading some other threads I think I am in the right spot. The fire department I work for is in the process of restoring our 1928 Maxim Pumper. It has a Buddha engine that was either rebuilt or replaced in the 40's sometime. I am leaning towards replacement after comparing other 1928 Maxim pumpers. The distributor is in place but the cap is missing. I am looking for the cap, rotor, points, and condenser. The tag on the distributor say 643 X 8H5.
I know I am in the GM forum but this truck seems to have other GM items such as the rear end etc so I figured this may be the most knowledgeable group here related to this project.
Thanks in advance
Andrew

NAPA had all the parts in stock, the truck fired right up! I have to chase down a possible problem with the new coil, is was getting hot to the touch, but otherwise it had a great spark and truck sounded good for not running in 12+ years
