I have no clue either since the top I have is from a bigger car, thats why I need the measurements for it to be correct. Usually the mounting ppint is narrower that the top, atleast on my other 20s cabs

Are the 48" the correct width for a 1917 D45?

Anyone that can take some measurments of the width of the top bows for the 1917 Buick D45? I just got hold of a top mecanism that has the correct length but it is too wide for my D45, wpuld want it to be as correct as possible when making new bows for it.

My 1917 D45 that is under restoration is also running 34x4 tires and 26 inch rims, and the 60 inch wide axles

Is there any direct replacement for the front wheel bearings and dust seal for the 1917 Buick D45? One of my wheels has the orginal bearings wich are worn, I cant find anything that looks close to them. The other side has been rebuilt one time with new tapered bearings. It has been made a sleeve to go over the outer ring and a sleeve to under the inner ring. This has been done for both bearings on that wheel. But I can not find any bearings when searching for the number on them ABC 9026R and 9022A. I guess other have done this job before, what became the solution?

I would prefer to purchase parts😊 but for copying, I think it is best for the owner to get the copied made in th US. Just easier to find shops that can and will do the job than in Norway. Is it possible for you to take measurments of the widt and length of the mecanism when folded up and down?

That is correct it was always the pump as nr 1 priority as the can me made. But always easiest to get one complete

This is the only lead so far that is giving a pump for result I want to buy it if you can ship it.

attached of the engine. The engine is living in an international truck. It was changed out in the 40-50s. Idont have any more info about the engine or the car it came from.

My pump is missing, it is mounted in the side of the block all the way back against the clutch housing and driven by shaft from the generator after the pics I have seen online. Have been thru this forum some dodge brothers groups on facebook, ebay and prewarcar.com looking for one

It is my understanding thet the 1917 D45 was a dark green with black fenders. Export models also had black hood. Is this correct? And what color today would match the orginal green? What color would the wheels have been, Body color, black or wood color? I know the outer ring was cadmium coated

I habe started on the body for my 1917 D45 and are replacing the wood. It had some wood missing, so I am in the need of the distance from the edge that holds the rear seat cushion and back to the body itself. If anyone would have the time to help me out 😊
