Looking for weatherstripping for the front of the driver's door. Attaches to the hinge pillar, mounts partially under the front fender, and has a metal strip that screws to the pillar.

I am installing the starter in my 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe P18, and the gear that engages the flywheel is extended as it would be to start the engine. Is that normal? It seems that it should be retracted and extend when the starter is activated.
