I’ve done some more research on the whereabouts of each car, and it looks like this one is from #10 since I got it in Hannibal, Missouri. Opposite side of the state from the Kansas border but it’s the closest Davis to it and happens to be in pieces.

Car 13 is fully restored and somewhere in Michigan I believe

About seven years ago my father and I picked up this script in a lot of many other badges. It was only after I saw a Davis Divan in person that year that I realized what this may be. I reached out to an enthusiast who had multiple Davises through time & his son asking if it looked to be original, and they believed the badge was real from the photos (first 2 photos among others). However, I’m still skeptical if it’s real or a replica. Any help in determining the authenticity of it would be greatly appreciated! I have more pics of it if needed.
