  1. We have a 1916 Chalmers Touring Car we would like to sell. I guess you’d call it a parts car, asking $2,000 OBO. Our father bought the car in pieces around 1975 and stored them in hopes of restoring the car someday. 46 years later it was still in storage until last month when my brother and I put some of the pieces together, as seen in the photos. We have two hoods but neither of them seems to fit the cowling. We have numerous boxes of parts as well a lot of wood pieces from the car. The wheelbase measures 115 inches. There is no identification plate on the frame however, there is a number where the plate would be, it looks like 892??. The last two digits are not visible. The engine is a 3 ¼ bore, number reads 9395. The transmission shows two numbers a 35B and a 9308-C. We have approx 95% of the car. The car is located in Long Beach, California.
