British Motor Center, San Jose, CA. This building was the original British Motor Center in San Jose CA when I was in high scchool in around 1960. It has gone through many transitions since that time. Forty years later it was a store selling items for babys (hence the pink paint and sinage). In 2016 it was the area BMW motorcycle/Vespa scooter dealership and continues to be today. It was an attention-getting mid-century building when it was built in the '50's, but is pretty well camouflaged and unappreciated today. Unfortunate, but at least its still standing and is occupied.

Looks like a reasonable car at a reasonable price. Some interior touch-ups are needed, but its a not-often-seen model with low miles and just the right accessories. I like it.

This car (above) is actually a Roadmaster model 71 Tourback sedan, same as the one for sale here. One of 6738 produced that year. 320.2 cu.in. straight eight, 126.25 in. wheelbase. This body was available in the Super and Special series also, and was shared with the Oldsmobile 98. The more common Roadmaster Riviera Sedan, model 72, pictured below, had a longer wheelbase of 130.25 in. and shared its body style with Cadillac, but was also available in the Super series (not available in the Special series).
