  2. good evening, wondering if anybody can help with torque specs for cylinder head bolts , connecting rods and clutch plate bolts , thank you
  3. 1936 Pontiac coupe rumble seat straight 8 Built in canada my built in 1963 and drove it everywhere
  4. Hey Bloo, thanks for all info, all great and bang on, already have motor, bell housing out of car in one piece, left tranny in car, the car sat in my dads garage and wasn’t used for years, had piston seize to cylinder wall, was taking clutch out to have motor reconditioned, my much smarter mechanic buddy was helping me, and we decided to leave clutch alone, we cleaned the cylinder wall and got engine to turn over by hand, all valves and everything turns freely, so we are going to hone the cylinders, new rings, all new gaskets, put motor back in, freshen brakes and fluids, it all worked great before, so hopefully will again. I appreciate your help and interest
  5. Great, thanks for help, going out to garage soon tackle the job
  6. Good morning, looking for some pointers, tips to remove bell housing and clutch, appears bolts are inside bell housing fastening to engine block, there is an inspection plate on top of bell housing. To see clutch and bearings and fork, not sure how this all comes off, any advice would be great thanks and have a great day

Guess I should of payed attention to my dad, instead of drinking beer and chasing girls as a teenager, the car is a 36 Pontiac 3 window coupe with a rumble seat and straight 8, he built it early 60’s. it ran up till early 2000’s. it will run again....
