  1. Just for fun, I thought I would see what I could do with the photo. Nothing too amazing, but I thought I'd share. Pretty much just uploaded it to the myheritage site.
  2. Thanks. That's my grandfather in the second car. I recognize him easily.
  3. Here's the story. My grandfather played banjo in bands in the 20's and 30's in Detroit and Toledo. The story I've been told is that the three band members were given cars to drive as a promotion by a car company. The name of the band was The Three Vagabonds. So, in this photo, they are posed sitting in the cars in front of the Vita Temple Theater in Toledo. The movie playing came out in 1927. I recently touched up the photo and colorized it, so it's likely that the colors are not quite right. I looked up cars of that age and can't find a match. Note the placement of the door handles and the winged figure rad cap. Anyone know? Thanks!
