  1. Planning to drive from Rhode Island to Strongvill taking 2 days each way. Anyone interested in caravaning.
  2. VIN 3-120009825 Engine # P20 92160 - Mileage 12,612 or 112,612 This vehicle was purchased by the current owner about 1 year ago as a Covid Project. The vehicle had been sitting indoors for 20 years and was not running. The vehicle had an engine issue which required new pistons, rings and rod bearings. Multiple minor issues were addressed from the time it was sitting, but no other major issues were found. The overdrive was installed on the transmission but needed relays and a cable. The vehicle still retains the 6 volt electrical system, and all the gages function. It was recently driven round trip from Rhode Island to Syracuse, NY with no issues. The engine is a 1950 Flat Head 230 CID 6 cylinder with a single 1 barrel carburetor. Split exhaust headers run to a dual exhaust system. The engine starts and runs well. The engine and compartment are nicely detailed with a factory air cleaner. The transmission is a 3 speed manual column shift with overdrive, so it travels nicely at highway speeds. The chassis is in very good condition. There is no rust on the frame and undercarriage and suspension components. Floor pans are all very solid. The wheels are aftermarket chrome with BF Goodrich radial tires size 205/60 R15 front and 215/75 R15 rear.. 4 wheel drum brakes have been serviced and are in good working order. New shocks are installed. The interior upholstery is in like new condition made from factory similar material as is the headliner. Door panels are vinyl and floors are carpeted. The wood grain is lightly faded on the dash but the gages and chrome are all excellent. Chrome handles, knobs, Steering Wheel and trim are all very good. A heater, signal lights, a push button factory AM radio and Clock are also installed. The Pink exterior paint is fair to good, with flaws, scratches and some small bubble rust spots. Jams and doors show the original dark green color, and body filler can be detected in the rear. The car is a visual 20 footer. This club coupe has deluxe features including excellent chrome trim around all the glass, and very nice stainless body side molding. Front grill, both bumpers and hood ornaments are all very good to excellent. All the lights and lenses including backup light and third brake light are excellent. A 12 volt battery is remotely mounted in the trunk that powers the AM/FM/Bluetooth radio with 4 speaker system. In addition this battery powers a pair of lighted fuzzy dice, an under hood siren, and 4 neon under body lights. Although virtually all original, this was designed to be an old school hot rod. This is a very nice driver. The body and paint issues are the only negative, otherwise all systems operate well. The pink seem to attract a lot of attention at car shows, and it is fun to drive. The Overdrive will allow highway speeds to around 70 MPH. Contact Dave at dfac40@gmail.com or 203-232-2730
  3. This vehicle was purchased by the current owner about 20 years ago, and is being sold as part of the owner’s estate. The car was one the owner’s favorites, and was kept in all original condition as well as meticulously maintained. The actual mileage is unknown, but it underwent some restoration before this owner purchased the vehicle. The vehicle has been stored indoors, and started regularly. The vehicle still retains the 6 volt electrical system, and all the gages function. The original engine was damaged and replaced with a 239 Flat Head V8 short block using the original Mercury heads, intake and pan. It is estimated developing 105 HP with a single 2 barrel carburetor. The engine starts and runs very smoothly. The engine and compartment are nicely detailed with the factory air cleaner. The transmission is a 3 speed manual with overdrive, so it travels nicely at highway speeds. Photo of oil gage is with engine running. The chassis is in very good condition. There is no rust on the undercarriage, but some aging has occurred and it is due for a little detailing. Tires are wide white walls mounted on factory rims with full factory wheel covers. 4 wheel drum brakes are featured. The interior upholstery is in like new condition made from original factory material, with rubber floor mats. The dash and door trim are blue with blue and grey door panels and an off white headliner, all in excellent condition. Chrome handles, knobs, Steering Wheel and trim are all excellent. A heater, signal lights, a push button factory AM radio and Clock are also installed. The exterior paint is virtually flawless. This club coupe has deluxe features including chrome trim around all the glass, and stainless body side molding. Front grill, both bumpers and hood ornaments are all very good to excellent. All the lights and lenses including backup lights are excellent. Rear fender skirts add the final finishing touch. This extremely well maintained vehicle has been a consistent show winner for many years. It has traveled all over New England for many years effortlessly. This Mercury Club Coupe would make an excellent addition to any collection plus adding a reliable comfortable driver. Unmolested bodies of this type are a rare find. 5. I have 2 of the subject tachometers that do not work. they have 3 or 4 resisters burned out. Looking for an actual wiring diagram or a photo of the circuit board under the rear cover on a good working T-111 so I can get the color codes on the resisters
