  2. Hi All, I don’t have Brush hubs so I’m using latter T Fords front hubs . Has anybody else done this ? If you have can you tell me the size of the Timken bearings you used to fit the Brush axles. Any other advice around this would be greatly appreciated. Regards Rob
  3. Hi Bob is this still available? Rob B
  4. Hi Robert, I’ve been emailing you but somehow their vanishing into the ether. Transmission arrived all good thanks to your careful packing . It ended up on the slow boat from LA to Brisbane. I’ll phone you. Regards Rob
  5. Fantastic idea especially as I’m well into restoring a Brush at the moment. Thanks.

  7. Hi John, Thanks for emailing me. Yes I am . Do you know wether it’s the T Ford shape or the Mercedes shape ? Rob
  8. I’m restoring a Brush Model E . I’ve built a Roadster body copied from an original car. The two key things that are missing are the radiator and the transmission. A radiator either brass or steel would do. As far as the transmission goes the questions are , who was the Brush enthusiast who has made the patterns and was going to have them cast ? Did this ever happen ? At the end of the day hopefully a original transmission or part thereof will come available . Any leads gratefully received. ( I will be changing the fuel tank cap ) Rob
  9. Im putting together a Brush Circa 1911. In one of my more insane moments I bought a motor and have been building from there. Built a Roadster body copied of an original car here in Brisbane Australia. The two key things that are missing are the radiator and the transmission. The radiator I can sort even if I build it from scratch but the transmission is a completely different story. The questions are , who was the brush owner who has made the patterns and was going to have them cast ? Did this ever happen ? The next question, has anyone done a Plan B and adapted another transmission as a last resort or had thoughts about how this could be done. Rob
