In France the difficulties are real to find certain things according to US standards > having bolts or nuts is easy (i made this job) but specific studs are harder or even impossible The goal for me is to respect the restoration of the car identically or as close as possible to its origin. Initially, i had just asked the type of stud ON RIVIERA and it drifted on metric system....etc I am an individual and in France restoring a classic car is difficult craftsmanship is quite rare no longer here scams are common and changing a car's entire engine for an unfortunate gasket is common here🤑 And exchanging other visions in the world is interesting in my opinion !😉

I have tested ! thank you emtee !🙏 it seems good but the radiator has signs of wear at the bottom so i found in my city a car and truck radiator repair specialist (i precise that it is rare in France to find repair specialists....) and for equivalent $760 my radiator is rebuilt from scratch with 3 rows (2 rows original) i think it's a good investment for a car more than 50 years old🙂

  11. i VERIFY on my car RIVIERA 1966 and this the reality : nut 1/2 20 out (i have used a 3/4 wrench to unscrew the nut) I asked to telriv to buy the bolts but unfortunatly it is expensive to ship to France for individual person I passed with rockauto

SORRY (little stupid) but what's the difference between one cap 1 seal and a cap 2 seals on the radiator ? because there is only one outer A on the radiator and not on the cap... on my existing radiator there is not a recovery tank and just a hose in outer A with a single seal cap on my radiator so what is the point of the double seal ?
