  1. Here are a few photos. Three rods total from the foot pedal to the carb. The one I’m having a problem with is the correct placement of the rod from the carb to the second rod. There are two options for the end rod placement at this junction. Also, should the spring be at the carburetor holding the rod back or at the foot pedal holding it back? Thank you.
  2. I know some of you do this all the time. I’m only asking for help/advice so my weekend isn’t wasted. Thank you.
  3. Help, help. I just installed a rebuilt carb in my 1920 cadillac.. I’m all confused about the link rod placement between the throttle pedal and the carburetor. After my blood pressure went up too much I stopped. Ha ha. Does anyone have a simple sketch or answer to placement? …and I found a spring…not sure where that goes.
  4. How do I have ten times more issues? It’s always run pretty well. I can see you don’t want to help; that’s OK. I’ll look somewhere else, but thought this forum was appropriate to ask for help. Thank you.
  5. Thank you very much. I’ll look into the kit. The car ran well and after having trouble with it flooding and not starting we took it out to find it pretty original. Time to rebuild it.
  6. I’m looking for someone to re-build my type 59 carburetor . I just took it out because I couldn’t get get to start and found it a mess. It even has the original cork float; wow. I’d appreciate any help, recommendation, or contact with someone who could rebuild it. Thank you. -Jerauld Adams
